Yes, I feel the same way but I'm more agnostic I think. I don't sense any amount of judgement from Michel at all. She's the type of Christian that we need more of, instead of the judgy/hypocritical types. ❤️

I am not a Christian but I stand for a lot of the values that you do. I got married at 27 as well and had children at 30 and 33. It is a nice time line.

I really appreciated the answer to the God question. As a moderate Muslim, I tend to watch a lot of videos from Christian content creators, as I find that we have similar core values and beliefs. The world would be a much better place if more people focused on commonalities rather than differences. Thanks for making me feel comfortable and welcomed!

I know a lot of people kind of push for having children earlier, but I really agree with you that it's nice to have time with your significant other before changing your life to an even greater degree. My husband and I were married 10 years before we had our son. I was 33 and the timing felt really comfortable for us. We're all on different journeys so it's important for everyone to do what is best for them. I have lots of friends who had children in their early twenties and are really happy with that decision, too.

I’ve done EMDR bc of my PTSD & it changed my life. Within 3 months, I was 90% back to my old self esp after trying so many other things for a year before EMDR & they helped but nothing like EMDR. It’s an amazing technique.

I love that you “plan” a sick day…. I would say the “science” behind that is the sabbath lol we should all have a chill day for mental and physical health purposes!❤ and another thought, my husband and I were married 4 years before we had kids and looking back on those years now is so special! That time together was precious to me, and I think you’re so smart to value that time with Jordy before kiddos too! It isn’t a sick day, it is a well day, since you are caring for your wellness! My hubs and I dated six years before getting married & another six years before having our kiddo. Everyone does things at the pace that is right for them.

Michel, as someone who has had active lupus since 2005, please don’t go off birth control without the approval and constant monitoring of your rheumatologist. I did that years ago and the hormone change caused a flare that landed me in the hospital for 7 weeks. Not trying to be bossy, just concerned. ❤

I think you do a wonderful job with your vlogs and keep it "casual" with religion, which I think works! There are so many religious RU-vidrs, so if someone wants to follow someone based off a particular one, they can do that. I appreciate that you make it known you are a Christian but without any pressure to your viewers. ❤❤❤❤

Please be aware that even with careful tracking, the fertility awareness method is not very effective especially if you have any irregularities in your cycle. So if you are not planning on having kids for a few years it might not be the best option.

I am a Christian and I think you convey God's word in how you are and what you do. I don't think there is any point in preaching for the sake of it, but rather being how we feel would make God happy. I must say I loved when you shared what you learned in Church when you were back to Texas, because I found it helpful.

Just something to think about is there’s a lot of studies coming out how birth control is causing hormone issues later because it’s suppresses you’re hormones for so long. I had to do hormone therapy for 2 years before having kids because my body didn’t know how to naturally produce hormones. Just something to look into or research. I’m not a professional but that is what I had to deal with.

Please don't spread misinformation about birth control, if you are not a medical professional. It's true that there can be a delay in return to ovulation with long-acting injectables (depot provera) but oral contraceptive pills do not affect future fertility. Fertility is multifactorial and most women who struggle with fertility after getting off birth control often have other factors at play (PCOS, etc.). The narrative on social media that birth control is dangerous / harmful to fertility is creating so much fear among young people. Please be careful about perpetuating this. Discuss your concerns with a medical professional before taking advice from an unlicensed person on the internet ~ Friendly neighborhood nurse practitioner

And not just those with underlying conditions. Please read up on things before you go promoting old science that's no longer up to date.

For my rings, I wear my wedding band constantly, but I only wear my engagement ring if I'm leaving the house for more than just shopping, so church, dinner, small group, going out for the day. I don't wear it around the house, doing errands, or working out. This is great for the ring and I don't have to worry about it getting caught on anything. I started that when I had vintage rings in my first marriage, as that what they did back in the day.

Love having a chatty Q&A to do some chores while I listen. If you are looking into some solo trips on the East Coast I think you would really love Cape May NJ. They have a light house you can go into and a world war 2 lookout tower. Beaches, boats, and such a cute down-town area with lots of restaurants.

I don’t know about the US, but in Australia you are legally entitled to use BOTH your maiden name and married name. You do not surrender your birth certificate when you are married like you would if you changed your name by deed poll.

My parents had me at age 32( mom),35(dad). They married in 1965 at 21 and 24 and made the conscious decision to wait five years to have kids because they wanted to be together as a married couple alone to focus on their marriage and my mom’s professional career as a dancer.And once 1970 hit, they decided to try and finally succeeded with me in 1976! And both of my parents never regretted their decision to wait. 😍

Watching your baby shower video, I was in awe of how beautiful everything was, but that stupid judgy voice in my head that I try to evict was all "I wish I had a rich friend to throw me parties/I wish I was rich enough to throw my friends parties like that!" Describing it as a line on your budget makes it make so much sense. It's all about how you allocate! You're so generous. I don't have an equivalent dollar budget line as that, I'm sure, but people might question what I spend on seeds and my garden :P Also, I've been on birth control or pregnant for much of the last 20 years. Now that our family making journey is over, I'm excited to see what my body is like without the added hormones, once my husband goes on his birth control journey.

People ask us about getting our dog another dog and our beagle is the same way. She's a people dog not a dog dog hahaha. Also on the religion topic, I have so many friends who are of different religions I myself and to no specific one but am more or a spiritual person I'd think and your take on this is one of the many reasons I love your channel. Just the sheer amount of respect you have for everyone regardless of their beliefs is amazing and something I also respect a ton. Thanks for always sharing your auto-immune journey. It has helped me so much to hear about your flare ups and what helps them. Although I've had symptoms for many years, I have recently been diagnosed with Lupus and hearing more of your experiences has even helped me know what symptoms to bring up at my Dr. appointments. Hi, Michel. When I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, I designated one day a week (usually Sunday) as "jammie day" and did nothing but lay around and relax - I didn't go out, have guests, or do any housework. Having this one day helped me get through the work week without having to use a personal/sick day. My family would occasionally surprise me with meal deliveries and special treats on these days and never did anything to draw me out of the house because they knew that exhaustion was one of the major symptoms of RA and they wanted me to get some rest. Sounds like a shopping trip for "jammies", right? 🙂

Thank u for sharing! I have been married for over 20 yrs and I still just wear my engagement ring. Sometimes I will switch and just wear my gold Wedding band. The 2 rings don't fit nicely together. Beautiful rings! :)

Hello Beautiful Michel ~ About the engagement ring 💍 & wedding 🤍 band; I had a vintage platinum diamond engagement ring & band, however, even though it's "the norm" to wear the band first after the wedding - I wore my engagement ring 💍 first & then wore my wedding band on the outside - to also secure my engagement ring. Maybe try that and see what you think, even though you might have done that already?!? 💕

In France for birth control we have access to "sterilet en cuivre" which is a system with no hormones which translate as "hormon free IUD" : basically the copper stops the egg from being fertilized

I only wear my engagement ring. For whatever reason my wedding band doesn’t fit as well so I stopped wearing it a few years back and I just starting wearing my engagement again after having a baby. We got our rings on Etsy and someday I’d like to upgrade my set.

I love your view on Christianity. I feel the complete same way. Christianity is supposed to be all about loving people, not forcing your views down their throat. It's so sad that we get such a bad rep, but it's because of all the judgemental Christians. So sad. Jesus didn't only love the ones who believed in Him. He loved absolutely everyone. Even those who hated Him. If we could show that kind of love, that would be revolutionary!❤❤❤

Hey hunnie, completely agree with you. I also see in the gospels that its also about reconciling people to God and that is inclusive of acknoledging our sins before God. It's interesting, if you take time to go through the Gospels Jesus said some radical things like beginning his mininistry with "Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand." I think loving people is wholesome and is inclusive of wanting the best for them. That includes saying not acknowledging your sin/shortcoming in light of God's grace will surely surely take to hell. And its uncomfortable hun, but isn't love wanting sb to flourish in this life and the next?

Loved this! Definitely don’t share the the baby girl name that you like because people will use it! Not just people on the internet but maybe acquaintances. I’ve had that happen to friends of mine with other ppl!
