I so appreciate and admire Doug Brinkley. He has met so many interesting people and written so many outstanding books. Thanks to Brian Lamb for these wonderful conversations.

Norton Smith's fine. He's a bit of a square. Brinkley is terrific.

These three men are of 4 people worth listening to in terms of history & politics as they relate to America. A tru historian pushes his/her own agenda to the back to analyze what is going and then apply it to the past. 99.8% DON'T. These men do. Brian Lamb is an insitution in broadcasting. Richard Norton Smith & Mr. Brinkley, the same, respectvily, in History & as authors. To bad the fourth didn't join them....thx for posting!!!!
