I was so impatient to find the career and lifestyle I wanted, and was taking the risks I thought I needed to make it happen. This past year the biggest lesson I've learnt is exactly what you said. Be patient: don't mark your success with check boxes, but with what you learn, the people you meet and the experiences you curate along the way

I found a taxi service in Rome that was only female drivers which I found very helpful indeed. The one that drove me played and sang loud opera music and it was a super fun time. I, of course, sang with her. How could you not? Haha!

I know this is definitely a random question so I apologize in advance. My question is, I heard you say once that you use to live in Japan. I go snowboarding in Japan for 2 to 4 weeks every year. I’ve been going to Japan now for 9 years this coming winter. I’ve made many great friends most live in Hakuba, Myoko, and other areas in Nagano prefecture and the rest live in Hokkaido around Niseko. Japan has always been one of my favorite places in the world, the other being British Columbia. My apologies for the rambling. How long did you live in Japan, what part of Japan were you living in? And what kind of work were you doing in Japan? I apologize for getting to personal but was just curious about your Japan experience since I’m in Japan a lot. notation: I was curious about "how do you keep safe traveling as a woman alone" - having travelled to various spots - and I'm happy to hear you are as shrewd as I perceived. The world is a dangerous place, and it's unfortunate, but it is the world we live in. I'm always concerned when some friends travel, because I see them as targets, and hope they have others to guard them. Having said that, I also believe that there is a God, and he protects the true of heart. Those with ambitions which are selfish, well, they're unprotected - but those who live and breathe with a real intent to learn, see, and understand - well God does protect them. That being said, I'm happy you have your head about you.

your friendship reminds me of what my best friend and I have, we went to uni in England together but haven't seen each other since because he moved back to Mauritius! And this year I finally have a good job and can go visit him haha it's been 7 years and we've been in and out of touch, but I know that when we see each other it will be the same, thats what real friendships are! At min.4:25..sad that only 50 years ago, females always bonded and settled down before the age of 21. Age 16-20 is the natural mating/bonding time for females and men were more serious about marrying the woman they wanted to have sex with.. to be proper amongst family, friends and everyone they interacted with in town. (Most companies would not hire an unmarried man.) This is in the days of no birth control, no internet porn, no dna testing etc. Men were in a rush to get married, knowing that the prettiest girls would be getting marriage offers from others. They were also proud to have children, since all their friends started families young. How the world has changed since the 1950's .. and women are meant to feel guilty and surpessing their natural instincts... for a "better life" of work and loneliness since now there are so few respectable men to choose from. High school being so long and unproductive is to blame. In the old days, teens took trades or college from 16-18/20.. and were into their proper jobs by 18-20... not these endless school systems. The broken school system needs change.

Your saying that you dont want to do videos just churninng them out i agree and understand your reasons to not feel pressuresd to upload more and not do quality beautiful videos however this is how you get EXPOSURE and keep living your dream I think a good way around it would be to just do more youtube lives :) it gets very good exposure doing lives then you can still do your beautiful videos if and when you feel like it. People loveeee to see people live and connect when so much of the world is so disconnected to others a weekly live i think be a great thing to do :). Have admins you know veryu well and trust to take vcare of the chat trolls. only people you truly trust should get a wrench as many have found letting people get admin rights has messed up their channel. you can add brina to join you on panel during some lives or other friends you know there. makes it a fun and social way to climb your numbers. Get exposure connect with people live youll see your numbers climb. you can also schedule it ahead of time so people can know and be there to join in i think this would be great. So many of us have chose to go around the world leave our home country i did too although having kids really made it very difficult for me to access my dreams of being abroad now im single no kids. i would love to go live in Italy. I wouldnt do it though without a job and money like you said you have to be smart plan ahead it took me 2 yrs of planning to get back to UK. Your patreon. i joined im not seeing really any content recently. This is another way to really build your channels get a higher income but you have to interact regularly. partreons are meant to get access to videos and lives that youtube dont get. Your patreon could use some work. People join patreon to support creators but also to get access more than youtube gives to that creator, allowing people to get more interaction with that person that youtube doesnt. lives are a way to go i think as far as you as a creator to get your beautiful self more exposure its live and can just relax into it without all the editing too. adding ads to your videos like a couple ads making sure your videos are around ten mins at least gets you more views.
