Extraordinary! I discovered Ramana Maharshi through David in the lockdown in spring last year and his videos and books helped me enormously. Now only a few hours ago another lockdown was announced, I look at RU-vid on my pad and there’s a new video with David. Extraordinary and thank you David!
i am guessing you are from the uk aswell then? your lucky ognet you have discovered bhagwan ramana, it was in your destiny. i reccomend listening to samanera jay... be as you are. on youtube. i find meditating to his spoken words accelerate the effect of his teachings. whatever he says is true ... follow his pointings and that joy and bliss will arise... i contest to it
Actually, I live in the present hell on Earth...the US. Papaji, Bhagavan, David Godman, among others, have shattered my imaginary protective shell of the "self." David found me floating, without roots, and, thus, self-awareness. Love is not a word expansive enough to encompass the infinite.
David, I have tremendous respect for you. You are responsible for helping me become focused on my practice again. And when I am struggling I always watch one of your videos. You have touched my life in a very positive way. The way you explain the teaching of the master is like being there in person. I can't thank you enough. I have a goal of meeting you one day. I don't have a lot of time left, but I will do it. God bless you and keep your safe.

Thank you David. You are the clearest and most powerful exponent of Bhagavan's teachings that I have ever encountered. Your words have entered my consciousness, carrying those teachings, serving as a portal into something that cannot be contained in even in Bhagavan's words. I started watching this video in a state of distress about a variety of things, feeling distracted and disconnected; but Silence came through your words and I thank you from the quiet place that has opened up. I look forward to watching your pre-recorded Satsang that was just posted yesterday. I hope I will have the opportunity to meet you in person some day, after many years of e-mails back and forth. Thank you, David, for all your books and videos. They have been immensely helpful. I'd rather listen to you than many of the 'sadgurus' today. Although Bhagavan says that our bodily actions are destined and that the only choice we have is to stop identifying with the body and mind, I always wonder if our exercising that choice is also predetermined?

So happy to see that David’s Q & A has been published on RU-vid, as I missed the original broadcast due to the time difference. It’s always very helpful to hear from sincere and long-term devotees of Bhagavan, who can sift the wheat from the chaff so to speak and point to the essence of Bhagavan’s teachings, as well as speak from their own experience as to what is essential in the practice.
