To be honest I really like those people who acknowledge how much privileged they are. And once they acknowledge this, it makes them the most down to earth person. Keep up the good work Soch.
@@karthik_kp13 even if he didn't explicitly mention that he thinks he's privileged (which he is) I'm sure most of us would have understood that he is cause he went to Singapore and then to Yale and that takes a lot of money.
You're very inspiring. To be an achiever is a massive thing, but what comes even bigger is humility which is pretty evident from your mindset. It feels really great to see people like you coming outta multitude of India.
Yaa,I think internet is truly boon because If we are not having it's access we are not able to know about such God gifted people like him..... He is truly a gem.
but at the end, he is the one who have to do hardwork, ik he is priviliged but still we cant say he didnt suffer, a poor kid may have suffered more but both have suffered thats the main point
One thing is very clear I've seen you tubers like you n others people's who educated in universities other than India they have studied like real not in books only, they work on skill development and applying whatever they learn
I am so glad you talked about the privilege factor, and how the small things, such as the scholarship you talked about, can make a big difference in the long run. There is nothing to hide, or be embarrassed(?) about being from a highly well off background, just like there is nothing to be embarrassed about being poor. None of us chose the socio-economic situation we were born in. However, it is very rare to see someone acknowledging their privilege. It needs courage since people can be quick to dismiss your hard work and associate it completely to your privilege.
Yeah, I also think that if people start talking about privilege commonly then social media would stop making it an issue. Like haters on social media see insecurity of people who came from priviliged background and thus purposefully poke that insecurity, making it harder to talk about it. And recently it became bigger issue then it should've been, like people started treating privileged people as second class citizens. And behaving like that those people don't deserve any success just because they have a relatively easier path to that success.
@@saubhagya9478 thats what u think, har class ki apni jang hoti hai and the same holds for privileged class......while the poor fight for survival or to get a job, the privileged have to compete for positions, good colleges (iit is cheap monetarily) and what not. getting into yale and stanford aint easy for even privileged. being financially privileged is no mark for being intelligent. i am preparing for iit and consider myself privileged enough that my parents cant afford abroad but indian private institutes. even i am working hard, nearly 7 hours a day for advanced and like me all of our friends. for me the issue is not if ill have food tomorrow but whether i ll get a seat in iit and believe me, it aint easy. ppl watch movie star kids and some rich kids and judge the whole community with two cars the same way but in fact most of us and above work equally hard. even a businessman like mukesh ambani has to work hard, more than a laborer mentally bcz it aint easy to be in top ten richest ppl and acquire companies like shit. we also have anil who has now started to focus on his work else we know where he was. yes having money has its benefits but thats just bcz those of us havent seen poverty. had i been born in a poor family i would have been accustomed to it. i used to live in a village colony where electricity was a luxury and i was happy then and today we have pre paid electricity since 4 years and we r happy now!! those who havent really experienced the phenomenon can never judge the true good and bad of it.
@@subhadeepbanerjee9191 I can point out many things which are sooo wrong in your reply, but I am not interested in comment battle rn. So just saying this that everyone have their own battles, if they are different it doesn't mean they are less exhausting. And you will not be saying that "being made fun of" is easy if the other person was poor and people are making fun of their clothes or lack of food. Just an example that how unconsciously biased you are. I was just giving an example of how privileged people get social pressure, there are other problems they face too, it was just one of them. @Sumeet P Being privilaged is not wrong, it's not a crime. I'm male, so I've male privilage. My family tho not super rich, is still comparably better off. So I do have economic privilage. We can't control what privileges we have, but can try to make better use of it so that the underprivileged don't face the hardships and inequality they would've to face otherwise. Same goes for caste, sexuality, religion, language, culture, etc. If you got privilege, make sure that others who don't have it must be heard.

I watch your channel but am disappointed that it is not available in English. With my pidgin Hindi, I understand something. From your comments section, you must have probably garnered that most of your audience is comfortable in English and Hindi, but would prefer to communicate comments in English as it is a more expressive language and many of your audience 'think' in English. I would suggest guys like you and Dhruv rathee make your videos in English ALSO. While Hindi will get you reach, to be really noticed, the videos must be in English since all the power structures in India can understand it. Moreover a lot of these power structures 'think' in English. Secondly English will get you a wider audience. As you are aware, the majority of NRI population is non-Hindi origin, so making videos in English will enable you to reach them.
