You’re both at the absolute top of your genre, and you also feel very relaxed still? It doesn’t feel intimidating at all. You’re just real people that put the viewer at ease. As someone who is very private, I completely understand how you feel about social media! Thanks for giving us this Q&A, it's nice getting to know you "behind the scenes." I don't understand Japanese but find it super calming. Undoubtedly my favourite asmrtist, you are so spot on with your performances and i think one reason I prefer your work to others is you don’t do the things I don’t get tingles or enjoyment from like tapping and pen light in eyes or a whole lot of it (it actually hurts my eyes!) and making mouth sounds and swishy hand movements and anything that takes me out of a real person interacting. Your close ups are divine. Anyway, it’s a broad range of what I love that you just happen to do. I love the direction you’re looking at going in, I’d always be gutted when you’d leave but also so grateful for these years watching you. ASMR by August last few years been going through 2 major cancer surgeries, treatment's, Dr MD, RN appointment's. Being a combat veteran being diagnosed with Chronic Complex PTSD "Anxiety" Dysthymic (More then 2 year's). So you are so incredibly good at ASMR. Thank you for being on here!

August, just wanted to say that I fully agree with everything you said about hating social media, the toxicity around it, and wanting a peaceful and private life for yourself. I’m really glad you mentioned that. I’m also a private person and mainly only use RU-vid now bc social media has become so toxic and lost its appeal. Sometimes I feel like one of the only people in the world in their twenties who actually wishes social media would go away 😂 So you mentioning that makes me feel less alone. You’re one of my fav ASMRtists and it was great getting to know a little bit more about you! 🙂

The video, Head to Toe Posture Fixing, Camera Tilting, is my favourite ASMR video of all time. I watch it 3-4 times a week. The dots on the face section is so good that I go into a deep meditative state and all the touching and your facial expressions that follow heal me. Love and light.

I enjoy ASMR but I only consistently watch very few and you are always one that I come back to. I find the lack of unnecessary 'fluff' and 'acting' in your videos to be what makes them so relaxing. Once I fell more in love with watching the videos I started looking at more ASMR creators and you popped up on my suggested videos while I was watching hers one day. I was worried that it had gotten you. I worked as an emergency mobilization trauma nurse in NYC at the height of the pandemic and i have used your videos to help me with sleep due to ptsd and trauma. I’m totally with you on the precision thing being a trigger, the first time I experienced asmr (but didn’t know what it was) was probably in the 2nd year of first/primary school watching my classmates in maths class doing very focused and delicate work like drawing shapes and measuring

August, I found out about your RU-vid channel during the pandemic and when I noticed that you had disappeared for a while I felt really sad. I'm not a native English speaker, so I didn't use to consume as much content in this language, but you marked the change where I now watch more ASMR in English than in any other language. If I'm honest, it's incredible how sometimes you feel comfortable and calm with a person who doesn't know you but who gives all his love and dedication to his viewers, that's why I feel so gratifying to watch any of your videos. I never usually comment on your videos (I'm like a ghost subscriber) but I wanted to write in this special video telling you that you´re a relevant person in my life, since you indirectly helped me heal in some of the worst moments of my life when I was suffering from depression , insomnia and I couldn't control my anxiety.
