This was rad! Great idea. I was smart and my first tattoo (my sxe X) was on my calf so it was super easy and didn't really hurt at all. After my legs I moved on to my lower back (trampstamp area...haha) and that shit wasn't fun. But my most painful is on the upper inside of my art right above my armpit. Dude, I almost slapped the machine out of his hand and ran out of the room.
I love when people ask if my tattoos hurt. The generally ask when looking at me leg, because it's covered and the most obvious. No...of course it didn't hurts when needles were run hundreds of thousands of times over my achilles tendon, shin bone, and the back of my knee. Honestly, I think the worst tattoo was my lower leg, but it was not the location that caused it. It's because the final session I did was about 8 hours long, and the area was just super irritated. Great video. loved it.
Harmless Rebel's Vinyl Channel ugh yes I️ know this feeling. Causally staring at my leg sleeve and asking if it hurt -_- duuuuhhhh. Lol, also yeah, my most painful was an nearly 4 hour tattoo of a ram head with flames ON my ankle (the bone and the achilles) and shit man it was so sore and raw by the end I️ could hardly walk.
I don't like getting tattooed for more than 4 hours in a particular location. It's not the pain (though it can be fucking painful), the skin just turns into like ground beef, gets swollen, and seems to take longer to heal. Worst spot ever for me: giant ribcage tattoo - three sittings, fuck every last second of that! Stomach really sucks too.
Top questions asked about my tattoos. 1. Q - Do they hurt. A - YES! They all hurt always, no matter what the tough guys/girls say. 2. Q - what about when you are old?! A - I will look awesome. 3. Q - Have you got tattoos EVERYWHERE .... *sexy look* A - No
I don't have any tattoos (yet). The more I put it off the more nervous I get about the pain and healing, and just anxious about it.. like if I get some weird reaction or if I'll be allergic to red ink. But I've always loved tattoos and wanted them. In some ways I'm glad I've waited, I'm almost 23 and my preferences have changed so much. I want american traditional or neo-traditional tattoos now. Keep doing videos! I have a feeling you'll get a lot of subscribers! Also, where are you from? Your accent sounds british.
People always are shocked, when I tell them in what time I've gotten 5 of 6 tattoos. I was 18 when I got my first and 19, when I got the outlines of my fifth first, my chest piece. Now I'm 24. Still loving them, still not regretting :) and I've got my hand inked a few weeks ago and I can agree to the pain on the side of your hand! Worst part... thank you for sharing that video, awesome ink.
My first tattoo is on my foot as well. To me it did not hurt as bad as I've heard others explain it. It also healed really nicely and it looks awesome.
Man I'm EXACTLY like you, I mean, when I turned 18 got my first one, the Alexisonfire heart, and I would NEVER imagine that I'd be covered lol, I got my whole arms and hands, my chest, my palm, my right foot and both my legs but I got only 2 for now on my left leg, but youre the first person I saw saying that wouldnt imagine that would get a lot of tattoos as well :)
My first tattoo was on the sole of my foot and it healed fine. It really depends who tattoos you and how good you take care of it. For reference I got 'Made in Ireland' and it's still in tact.
If you think tattoos hurt so bad - try having arthritis! ha ha! I actually kind of like the "pain" of getting tattoos. It's kind of enjoyable in a weird kind of way - and no, I'm not a masochist. It's just kind of like "earning" them or a right of passage for them. I enjoy your videos and your stories. You seem like a kind man. Don't let life change that. 💞
😬 I still haven’t told my grandparents out of fear of them dying of a heart attack... haha. I go to the beach with them every year and wear long sleeves and pants the whole time unless I’m away from them. I’m 30... and I have full sleeve/legs covered/just all over hahaha
Why does the back need to hurt so much? I really want a full back tattoo but I almost know I couldn't take the pain. I could probably bear sleeves and half sleeves and the such but I really want a massive tattoo covering my back
*I got my first tattoo on my foot all the way up my calf and shin, then my 4th tattoo was over my whole knee which I had surgery on... yeah I dont make very good decisions lmao*
I am in no way heavily tattooed but i have more tattoos than mostly but i hate when people sit there and say tattoos don’t hurt I have Face, Neck ,both forearms, hands and my left palm done, shit hurts
LOL my first tattoo was also on my foot!! (obviously because I wanted to hide it) glad I got it as my first though because it made the next ones not as bad and now I will never get another one on my foot
one time, I had a little bit of glass or something cut me. it was like so tiny you couldn't see it, but it got a nerve or something and it made me faint and I couldn't see or walk properly and now I'm terrified of ever getting my palms tattooed incase it happens again /:
A lot of people assume I have tattoos, but I don't have a single one. Before I got piercings done (literally got my first last year, the nose), I even had this mentality that I would never get either done... like a weird no tattoos/no piercings form of straightedge... but that says way too much about my mentality at the time. I'm not in a rush to get tattoos and it's only ever a fleeting thought, but if I were, I decided I'd only ever get quotes from books I've read (and loved), but not in cursive... I'd rather die than have a cursive tattoo... Sorry to anyone who has one, I just don't like them.
where did you get those glasses, i want a pair just like those but non prescription (for style) i love that style and can never find just frames with glass? sounds stupid i know but thanks! Love the sleeves and tats, i subbed
My dad and I (we don't have a good relationship at all...which made it awkward) but we got tattoos together, it was his 6th or 7th one and my 1st one...I got it on my ankle and it was a black widow spider, its about 6 or 7 inches, maybe a little smaller, it wasn't too big...But It cost me $80 and I used my own money...and it wasn't that painful since it was on my ankle and then when I was 17, I got 2 more tattoos on the same day one before the other...ones on my wrist and it is a semi colon...it means a lot to me and the other is a skull and rose, it signifies life and death for me...My parents are ok with tattoos but my brother hates them..I am planning my sleeve for this summer already and I just turned 18 in march of 2016 xD
Oh my god I have to comment.. So my very first tattoo, I went out a week after my birthday, and got pretty much the entire top of my right foot tattooed.. You can pretty much guess how horrible that was LOL. I still love it though
I actually had to wear my fathers shoe to school for at least a week because of the swelling/tenderness. The things I wish I could tell my teenage self LOL
I had a similar first tattoo story. I was 18 and decided to get a giant piece on my side that reaches from my rib cage to pelvis bone. It was stupidly painful ^_^' Do you have any other band tattoos as well or bands you'd want to get tattoos of?
My parents don't care I got tattoos and learning tattooing, got tattoo kit been tattooing myself for a month now before I did alot of training on fruits, fake skin, practicing pick e work.everybody pikes them they surprised I did them, did my whole left forearm sleeve ,im 20 and got Alot tattoos, chest, whole stomach left forearm, right forearm, did inside fingers and more to come
Yo I'm thinking of getting one there, is it as painful as people make it out to be? I've only done my upper arm and that's not a really painful area so I don't know
yes it does hurt in some areas more than others but it can be handle. My most painful at the moment I would say it was my chest piece.. and how you said the arm is easy in compared. :)
+MasterPieceTattoos I think it's because the skin loses elasticity over the years, which makes it tougher for the needles to dig in. :) That's also why they don't heal as nicely as they would on younger skin. The tough skin doesn't take ink that well.
