I also love John's answer to the question about money being irrelevant to a person's innate elegance. There are plenty of influencers and super wealthy people who are very crass, unsophisticated and downright evil and abusive to people and even animals so money cannot buy elegance.

I've respected his ability to be both iconic & iconoclastic, which has not wavered in the many, many years I've followed his channel. All with the styling of a vampiric alien beauty queen.
I basically started to cry by how inspired I was from what he said in the video. You could feel the depth of the experiences he has had- you could feel the amount of pain that was processed and made into something more beautiful and worth living for. Resonate with this 100000%. 13:10 there's a youtuber I follow: Anna Dysett who discusses homemaking below the poverty line. Anna is often accused of being wealthy b/c she speaks well, acts with poise and dignity and tries to craft a clean and elegant home. It's sad that ppl have this sterotype that if you're well spoken you must have money when there are plenty of trashy wealthy ppl out there too.

My opinion on humans is that out of all that I’ve met, known, avoided, loved, hated and tolerated…. My grandson is my favorite!!! He is my whole entire heart!!! You are the most fabulous man on the planet earth!!! I collect all sorts of antique items. I even have a small collection of antique makeup. My favorite items came from the 1800’s. I have a cider pot that was handed down to me by a wonderful lady that I was incredibly fortunate enough to care for until she passed away. The pot is absolutely my most prized possession. It’s silver and I polish it at least once a month and it lives on my mantle.
