Just want to say I really enjoy listening to these types of videos. Listen to it when I'm out walking. Do keep making them, it's like a really chilled podcast, and great to feel like we get to know you both a little more 😊
Heya fellas. I’ve been a semi-regular viewer of the Channel for several years now and I just wanted to say that you guys are great. I don’t typically leave comments or even watch RU-vid as much these days but every time I do, I always check up on this channel to see what you guys are up to. Thanks for always making my day over the years. Best wishes from New England!
I really love your Q&A videos, I remember when you both used to answer every week during the normal vlog from the book of 1000 questions (or something like that). Not to get so deep; but was there ever a time when you felt like giving up on RU-vid or felt like “I’m gonna do less videos”? I am loving that you still give us so many videos everyday.
T&K I do love the Q&A videos! The programs I’ve seen so far prompted me to watch another Q&A episode. You remind me of my best friends. Bob and Janet come to my mind. I try to keep up with Lunchtime Review as well. We’re probably the same age. 80’s music was my life! I was born in 1962. Take care- Luv Gary- from Albuquerque.
Y’all seem like really nice and genuine people. I love to watch your videos and these q&a’s especially. When you mentioned about liking hands. I don’t know if you like the show Seinfeld or watched it but there was an episode where they were talking about how great George kastanza’s hands were. It was hilarious
Hi Tami and Kevin l love the sit down and answer questions. Is so interesting and very funny at times hope you have a lovely week God's blessing to all your family ❤
I thoroughly enjoy these chats. i make my cup of tea and sit down to learn more about you. Most music from 60's-90's. So glad to hear about Christinas progress, it was me who asked but not harassingly I make a lot of stews. curries and soups in winter. My comfort food I have had 8 back surgeries, so I hear you. My left knee can also forecast the weather! I have a friend who has a hidden "special box" and she has tasked me with getting rid of it if she dies unexpectedly {partially to embarrass me, I'm sure} I always notice people's eyes first Foreign languages and music/choir were my favourite extra curriculars I am good with foreign languages and an accomplished cook
I love Classic Rock the most but I love the oldies as well. I have shocked neighbors once in a while when they come over and when I open the door their greeted by Bon Jovi.
The Plant, gave me an old memory. Many years ago a neighbor was moving, so she gave me a beautiful, but small Sunflower in a tiny pot. I thought my mother would enjoy it And she put it on the mantle, no one used the fireplace. Many months later my father and I walk into the room She is watering it . The sunflower was fake, no one told my mother who had been watering it for months. We were rolling on the floor!
I absolutely love these videos. I have an idea for a question… I admire your significant weight loss and congratulate you on keeping it off so long as you know many of us struggle yet, you eat things you enjoy and your calorie conscious which is something very relatable for most viewers. Could you tell us what you eat in a day when you do these food reviews, because I really respect and look up to the way you enjoy your food yet you’re cautious without overindulging. You’re such an inspiration and I would really love a video explaining🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
80s music really was the best! Some songs I haven't heard since riding the bus to school in junior high yet somehow decades later I remember the lyrics (or the lyrics I misheard like in Betty Davis Sighs) 😂
Love you guys you both are genuinely nice people and your from/in KY 😆 Enjoy all of your videos, I was born in 62 so love all the late 70’s and 80’s music I enjoy country music of 90’s and early 2000’s. I agree with the young in your mind but the knees and back disagree 😂. I let my hair go gray during COVID and am white in the front. I’m so appreciative of all your food and snack reviews and seeing what you buy at diff places. Kevin’s got me onto A&W Zero which I love but Kroger and Walmart run out a lot. I hope you continue your channel I look forward to watching ❤❤
I'm only 31 but because of long covid I now have a body of an 80 year old. Never would've expected to feel like I'm 81 instead of 31. You just never know what's going to happen to you, some people are in great shape when they're very old, others like me don't get to enjoy a healthy body for long.
@@TamiDunn as for right now no, there is currently no treatment of any kind. At the moment there's no way of knowing if a treatment will ever be discovered and if the neurological and other damage can be fixed
It is funny you mentioned Uncle Charles. My Mother in law worked at Uncle Charles, she was the Secretary there for years at the plant, here in Richmond. I love the meat and you know your are getting great quality💙💙
Music I Listen to: If it wasn't already obvious, The Beatles mainly lmao. But I do love a huge chunk of 60's/70's Classic Rock. I have a soft spot for Michael Nesmith's Country songs, but that's it for Country. Do You Change Your Menu: I'm on the spectrum, so I eat the same structure of meals everyday for regularity/comfort, but I do change the flavors up and incorporate in seasonal foods/ingredients. I will stock up on my favorite seasonal products (if possible) so I can have enough to last the year. Improvement to Home: When my middle sister and I used to share a room, my dad built a room inside our room to separate us since she'd fight with me. But not too long after that she moved to the basement, then to her own place, so it's just a waste of space now. I'd knock down the wall so I could have the original big room to myself. Gardening: I have a black thumb lol. I can't even keep an Aerogarden alive. I feel the same way as you. Store You Would Never Go Back to: The Shoprite I used to work at.. They treated me awfully. And the whole store went to garbage, so pretty much everyone I know started avoiding it too. I swear I've bumped into my old boss (the former store manager there) twice at the Shoprite I go to now. Changes to Body: Nothing much other than getting weaker. If I Could Work on One Body Part: My stomach too. Most Embarrassing Age: Middle School. My blunder years LOL Who Leads The Happiest Life: I agree.. Carefree people. I wish I was carefree. Most Embarrassing Item I Own: Um... Idk. Maybe the cereal collage I had made out of cereal box clippings on my wall. If You Went to The Electronic Store with $5,000: Also a new computer!!! One that doesn't sound like a jet engine running The Sims 3... Records are cheap if you go to a record show or something. I wouldn't buy more either though... I have half of an IKEA shelf full of them already. Favorite Part of Body: Eyes... Which is weird, because I can't do eye contact. Musical Instrument to Play: I had the same experience as Kevin. I tried piano, but it didn't work for me in the same way. I was a lot better at the trumpet. Something that Motivates Me: My mom, my dog, and my best friend. They motivate me to work against my ED. If I don't eat, I won't have the energy to be with them. Something that Makes Me Concentrate: My special interests. Once I'm fixated on one of them, I feel like I have all of the energy in the world. (Or at least somewhat) Favorite Extracurricular Activity: Art. Now not so much.. Most Prized Possession (other than computer): My big cooking tools (KitchenAid, Le Creuset pieces) and my Webkinz collection One Thing I Excel At: Cooking/Baking!!! I often exceed my own expectations with my abilities. Thank you for your update on Christina; I've wondered about her sometimes (and I think I've asked too). I'm glad she's doing the best as she can. I feel bad for that person harassing you... I thought I had a sad life.
I have a couch picture to, that until I saw it I had no idea how big I was. It motivated me to lose 40 pounds. I don’t get Ashley’s purse thing either. I couldn’t stand having stuff in the older ones, but then again, I’ll use the same purse for years before I switch out and I wish I wasn’t like that.
That was horrible that people would make negative comments about what happened to Christina , in 2008 my mother was crossing the street and was hit by a hit and run(a hotel van) , had to live and recover in rehab. People can be so crass!
Yes but I definitely felt for Christina.I was at the rehab taking care of my mother everyday. She went through the physical therapy and all just like Christina.
@@TamiDunn Tami you remind me SO much of myself in so many ways. When I leave the house I have to make sure everything is in its place "in case I don't return (ex accident or something like that) Lol! When I go to bed I make sure everything is put away and picked up in case I don't wake up!!!! Lol! (I am a widow). I think I got it from my Mom and Grandmother, they were very much like that. And I will lick the frosting off a cupcake, cookie and throw it away after I eat the frosting! In a heartbeat! Just wanted to thank you both for being here, I don't comment much but just wanted to let you know how much your appreciated and respected. Thank you for everything you do! Love you both!
I have a lot in common with you guys! Completely agree with not wanting plants for a gift lol. I don't understand how these people have so much free time to harass people on RU-vid. Wish we could force all of our able bodied people to go to work, maybe they wouldn't have all that time to be awful on social media.
Yay!! I no longer feel alone in my non preference of plants!! I'd grow herbs to cook with but that's it! I had an ex ŕoomie that tried to push plant love on me & I didn't enjoy that one bit!: Ya gotta respect people's preferences.
LMAO Tami -- I messaged you a few weeks ago that I thought you had great hands, and afterwards I thought to myself you musta thought I was a total weirdo. LOL.
LOL, I always say I may be 74 but my brain is still in it's 20s. Talking about Playboy, the mobile home I bought was owned by the very first Playboy Bunny Elizabeth Kay and I have found some things that I refused to keep and was surprised at the amount of money I got for it by selling it to a person who collected Playboy Bunny memorabilia.
That’s sweet! I gave the family photo albums to my sister. I scanned copies and put them on my computer. I honestly think I look at them more often that way.
I understand you said you might not answer every question. I did ask what your dream house would look like (for example a description like 2 story brick house with a basement game room) and where would it be located? Was that too personal a question or did you miss it somehow? I’d understand either way I just want to know.
Good morning Tammy and Kevin don't worry about what people think people like that just don't like there self you all are very lucky to have each other I am 59 be 60 in September I can't do stuff I use to lol have a great day god bless you all
The filters on photos are ridiculous! One of my fb friends, in her 40s, puts a makeup filter on her photos, and everyone always compliments her on her lashes and eyeshadow. She always says thank you, but I think she should come clean. The lashes don’t even match up with the eyelid half the time! Haha
I don't care for country music at all but if I have to listen to something in a store I'll take country over something like Taylor swift any day haha I hate modern pop music. I prefer older rock. I think I recall seeing you in AC/DC hoodie tami, that's more of my thing
I love Disney music I’ve been playing that for Ameila. Mj is my favorite but I love all artists. I also love Prince I don’t know how you feel about him. I don’t know if I would play his music for Amelia cause it’s very sexual.
I enjoy these videos, they're a lot of fun. Hearing your answers and joining in when you trigger my memories of what my answer would have been when I was younger and how different my answers are now. Keep them coming. I enjoy all of your videos but these videos are becoming my favorite ones.
Also with you walking so much, are you wearing the converse? That could contribute to the knee issues too. I know with aging, but supportive shoes are very important with that kind of mileage :)
That’s shocking about the hateful comments on your Christina video. So happy that she’s almost 100%, really fortunate considering how bad it was. 🤣 about taking a dump on the living room floor. I have no doubt you’d be vlogging if the time comes🤣🤣. The one body part, no gym can help with that🤣🤣. I’d love to be able to play piano as a talent, I don’t want to learn it, just like you. Thanks sharing, very similar to the would you rather format 😁.
Love these videos. I never wanted to tend to plants bc I’m terrible at it. Horrible. But a family that needed to move quickly posted their plants on our neighborhood Facebook group and kept posting the ones that nobody picked up and the offerings kept dwindling until the only ones left were sad and dying and I felt so bad I had to go get them. Now I feel responsible for these sad plants and feel like I have to give them a good life bc they were abandoned 😂
@@TamiDunn wanna come and do it??? 😂. The worst part is the money I put into pots etc. So dumb. I should just leave my husband a secret note to dispose without my knowledge
I’m a country music gal, however I love 80’s and 90’s rock! We eat the same things year round, except at the holidays and as you do chili in the colder months. We always at vegetable soup on the summer. We grew all our vegetables and fruits growing up. We canned so much and we made vegetable soup in batches. We don’t have plants inside, but do have flowers outside and YES they are work, especially when it hasn’t rained. I’m a minimalist! People are weird these days. Do you literally wash your hands after each bite of a handheld food???? Especially when they comment on eating after each other. You have kids!!! I’m glad someone asked about Christina. I think about her often. I’m glad she is well. People who comment such hateful things have a serious dark heart and you’re right have their own issues. Sad! My husband is like Kevin, he doesn’t remember people or certain things. Way to go Tami for making the first move! I see how limited my mom is as to why I started lifting weights. I want to be strong as I get older. However, I don’t want to live to be too old. 😂 Lol! When my father in law passed away we found a “magazine” if you know what I mean. 😂 My mother in law passed 5 years earlier. You can remove things, but that doesn’t erase history. Mine is a smile and good teeth. That is what attracted me to my husband. As a kid I loved volleyball. I played in HS. I excel at organizing and connecting with people. Love this theme of blogs.
