Dear Steve, why in the hell the 99 redballoons again and again? There are so many better songs by Gabriele Kerner alias Nena. Ok, at that time the band was called Nena. Especially from the first and also the second album. I always call such songs hidden diamonds. Well, Nena was the first German band with a female singer to reach number 2 in the American charts with the song. Furthermore, the message behind the song has not lost any of its relevance. And that after forty years. Frighteningly sad. I just want to say that there is so much more that is musically wonderful that most non-native German speakers are not even aware of.

YES! German please. I'm English, speak very little German but listening German music some how lifts me up. Rammstein ??? Maybe thats a big ask but any rock in German would give me goose pimples. Not giving up is what it takes. You guys have everything, all you need is the BIG break. You have our support. Babysitter just grabbed me, and I dont usually listen to that genre. The visuals are incredible, the bass line just grabs you, and the lyrics. Yes, the lyrics. Not that you care, but the song that caught my attention and started me listening was Blinding Lights. Liking all that the band does…would love to see y’all cover some Rascals tunes - such as Groovin and A Beautiful Morning…I grew up with these songs and they always seemed so uplifting which we need these days….keep it up!

I used to pick new music to listen to by cover art when I was in my early 20's. This is how I found Armored Saint (March of the Saint) and the Dead Milkmen Beezelbubba (Best Album Cover EVER!) I actually bought them, so no Bad Ass here. Support your artists.
My dad is a singer and he says he loves the sound of singing in German and prefers female voices so that would be awesome. I ocassionally listen to Marlene Dietrich singing 'Sag mir wo die Blumen sind' because I like the words. I'm more into French singing though.

Cool ... late to comment as just found this. Bonjour from a Texan in the French Riviera and one of German descent (basically, the Germans and Czechs built south Texas/San Antonio). A pity you're not here for the Cannes Film Festival ... you guys would be a big just playing outside in the Park (yes, that's a form of networking in this environment).
