My wife is catholic. Kids raised in catholic schools. We would come home and look at each other and say. Did you get anything from that sermon? NO! It changed when we watched you. Same thing happened to me when I spent the first 15 years of my life going to a catholic church. I didn't learn much of anything (except how to be a good catholic). Finding Pastor Jack has been such a blessing. I understand so much better now!

I asked Him to show me what I could do for Him today, and an hour ago while out walking, I heard a man cry out for help, went running toward his cries, he had fallen down, called 911, have been in medical so knew what to do, stayed talking with him, including about God, until emergency crews showed up. @@elizabeththompson6644 hello Elizabeth I can only speak from my experience but I too was raised Catholic (grade school, high school, etc) I was earnestly searching for the peace I needed but never felt it there, nor did I feel certain about anything. I fell away from Christianity almost entirely for a few years when my parents divorced. (I think I was so hurt that I rebelled.) Then I got into recovery (age 21) from an eating disorder and attended 12 Step meetings, and found a new and beautiful way to experience God. It was not head knowledge, it was heart experience. Big difference!! It was the beginning of waking up Spiritually. Then, at age 32 my I had an actual conversion experience. Definitely born again and Jesus entered my heart. And weirdly, this happened just months after I’d gotten married. Richard had a cousin from South Africa who came to visit and his wife had the gift of prophecy. Richard thought she and her husband were just kooky. Anyway he left for a week on business, and told me not to pay much attention to the “Jesus freaks” he said. 😂 Little did he know I was very happy to have private uninterrupted time to talk with them. I asked Geoff and Kerry many many questions. I was so drawn to their peace. Within two days, I was willing to ask Jesus to come into my life and teach me and guide me. I acknowledged I needed him that I could not make it on my own. Tears streaming down my face, Kerry prayed over me, saw my whole life, especially the painful things with my father. It’s like she saw the movie of my life and she knew nothing about me prior to this. I think I was ready. I know on that day I was transformed in my heart. And I have been pursuing God ever since. Not perfectly, I might add. And that husband, Richard? He never ever warmed up to Christianity. He also reneged on adoption, which he promised me he would, before we married. (I can’t have my own children, ovarian cancer at 22) Anyway we divorced when I was 36. I was broken hearted and devastated that I’d never get my dream of my own family. Those were lonely times. 15 long years later….I found the LOVE OF MY LIFE at age 51! We’ve been married for five years now. Andrew is THE ONE I can grow with spiritually. What a sweet and humble heart. ❤️🩷🧡The love is so deep between us. and I have never felt so peaceful and filled. Anyway I tell you this long story to say that I am certain of the difference in my life. I am walking with God, which feels and looks dramatically different than the years I went to the Catholic Church. (Again, I had “head knowledge, and was shame-driven” vs. “heart knowledge, and spirit filled.”) I hope that makes sense, and I pray that something in my testimony reaches you. You won’t need to worry about purgatory (which is not biblical anyway) and I pray you will find this peace too. now go with my hubby to a non denominational one and we are taught from the Bible and I love learning how it’s all coming together. (A funny aside: I was worried I’d turn into a Jesus freak that no one would want to be around.) I think I’ve just become a happy and peaceful person, the best version of “me” that God is shaping each day. Blessings to you.

Several years ago I determined to read the Bible. It took 4 years, I read one chapter at a time. I'm now reading the Bible in a year with my church, 3 chapters old and one New Testament a day. Knowing Gods Word changes everything. It clears up false beliefs, it shows Gods patience with us, it shows how God wants you to live and how to treat people, it shows you His plan for the world...yes the Bible is amazing. You are a wonderful pastor and I'm so glad we've found you.

So glad to have found Jesus but I didn’t find him in that church. Hope more wake up and realize it’s about a relationship with Jesus and not religion.

For me, it serves as the brief and fact-pact learning/reference material I reinforce my own Bible knowledge with, ….but more so, I share with others who I’m wanting to lead to Christ, or help them with their faith walk. Long sermons and teaching modules have their purpose and place,…these podcasts are a spiritual I.V. for which I am very thankful. God bless you!✝️🥰
I truly agree, impatient short attention spanned Christian’s who are still being grown, like me! Lol but I can listen to Jack for hours and I can read my Bible. However without guidance I struggle to fully understand books like Daniel. Without teachers like Jack, John Fenn, and Chuck Missler (who is no longer with us but with Christ Jesus now) I would not comprehend it correctly. So I appreciate them and their God given gift to teach the students to become better students and one day may even graduate!! Lol

I NEVER knew what “born again” meant!! No church I attended ever talked about it, friends who go to church regularly never talked about it. It all came together when we went through the lockdown in 2020 and I asked God for the truth!! … it lead me to be born again and I tell you … you definitely will be changed🙏✝️

I live in Indiana, if I lived even a state away I’d drive to Calvary to be taught by God thru you. But I have you Monday-Saturday and on Sunday I go to my life long family, I was gone for 35 yrs tho.
