My grandfather wanted me to rent QBert, because the package had him swearing on the front cover. I tried something else instead. It's kind of a bummer he didn't see me play QBert within his lifetime.

Most cartoons are depicted to swear with "angry noises" or just nonsense words that are completely incoherent to the viewer, hence Yosemite Sam from Looney Tunes. "Ya' rassafrassin' varmint."

I met Q*bert in the film of the Wreck-It Ralph and pixel and when I met his game, the original and the port for Android, I was afraid of him when I was a child because when he died the phrase "!@$%:#@" appears and I was thinking he was saying some bad words and then I got used to this orange guy again good times of my childhood 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yep, as part of Saturday Supercade, a long lost block of cartoons based on video games by Ruby-Spears (not Hanna-Barbera!), and it's known for its historical importance for bringing the first ever Nintendo cartoons. So far, it and Space Ace, aside from the Q-Bert short "Game Show Woe" due to legal issues, are the only segments to be viewed in its entirety.
It's just recorded samples from the Q-bert arcade game . Super easy samples to get. But each one is randomized each time. There's no pre-recorded complete samples but a "Mix-&-Match" of various small snippets to assemble Q-Bert's "profanity" making each one unique.
