The cherrybomb is our proprietary muzzle device/silencer mount. Jay runs you through why it is probably the best silencer mount on the market and in the world...
I had an adapter for the European threads on my B&T USWA-1... Q sells a Nielsen device with the correct thread pitch so I bought that afterwards and it's Mo-betta.
2500 rounds Honey Badger Trash cheery Bomb Panda Q Q Q ...using both 220 and 110 grain..Zero issues. Spend your money, sell your AR's if you need to. Q AR-15 upper is also coming.
I think he was referring to the HB .556 Upper is coming. but he referenced two different firearms in the same sentence so......who knows@@Swissk31300BO
@@Swissk31300BOnah its a Q Honey Badger 556 upper 10.x” - Just came out. Its SBR but still lets you use a honey badger as 300BLK or 556. Im unsure if you need to file another form 1, as its already SBRd as a honey badger 300BLK. But perhaps someone who knows more can enlighten me as you’re only changing the caliber
Idk why y’all wouldn’t offer a 14.5 option on muzzle devices, a lot of people run that barrel length for 5.56? My other serious question and it really isn’t meant as antagonistic because I think yall make awesome products, if y’all have such a problem with Rearden making a plan B muzzle device that can fit your cans, why is it ok for Q to offer Plan B to owners of SiCo, Dead Air, etc. is the principle not the same of your Plan B product line.
I agree about having a 14.5" option. While I don't like his example, what he is saying is that Q will not take responsibility for failures due to parts they did not make, and yes they offer plan B products, but the other companies also wont cover failures from Q's product failure. A better example is if you buy a nice set of wheels for your car, and instead of using the lug nuts that came with it, you slapped on some cheapo ones that aren't made correctly. If the wheels fall off on the way to Grandma's house, its the cheap lug nuts fault, not the wheels.
What’s the thread pitch for it going to the barrel? It says 1/2x28, but I presume that’s the mounting for the outside threads for the can? Are they both inside and outside thread at 1/2x28?
EDIT: 14mm socket for 8.6 Cherry Bomb. No Rocksett from factory. SR25 block in magwell worked fine. How about a useful video that tells me how to safely remove this thing from my Fix’s 8.6 Blackout barrel? 1/2” socket I got. Do I need to remove the handguard so I can clamp the barrel in a vice? I haven’t seen a reaction rod for the Fix and don’t want to torque the receiver. And do I really have to soak it in hot water to get Rocksett to release? I tried to find a Porq Chop in stock for several months last year before ordering a different suppressor for my Fix. I wanted the Porq Chop but it wasn’t happening. Now my Banish 46 has finally arrived, I have the taper adapter (another saga of Q silliness), and I need to get the Cherry bomb off. PLEASE HELP
@@qllc8143 thank you. I discovered that a 1/2” socket doesn’t fit the Cherry Bomb on the 8.6 Fix. 14mm does. I used a mag well block for SR25 magazines and the Cherry Bomb came off fairly easily. I was not even close to worrying about torque on the receiver. Clearly it was not glued on with Rocksett despite all of the internet misinformation.
Those things were actually hard to kill. Over 120k miles with oil changes when the owner was bored and a guesstimated 25+ shots NO2 and still did monthly road trips before it was traded in 🤷🏽♂️
@@praharin I have one but they’ve claimed to stand behind their cans no matter what and this just seems like the beginning to not covering them.. (YQ full-auto rated)
I am set on using Q. However, I just got my login for the Q site and read they were no longer ncluding the 2 cherry bombs with the TP & TC. Just your choice of one CB. I have a 5.56 and .300BLK build and would have like one CB for each. It's only $100 and the CB is a superior mount but that package deal was what sold me on Q as my suppressor choice. Still worth it? 🤷♂️
Any future plans for a square shoulder cherry bomb for other BBL manufacturers? Obviously it’s not as good as the taper design, but wandering for anyone who may use a different BBL but wants a Q suppressor.
@kevinbrittingham6774 Haha, I did that to get a rise!!! I do own some, and they do get loose at times, but it has never been stuck like a great dane on a poodle.
the whole point of this vid is just trying to call rearden, fpm and lpm as out of spec when they all make superior muzzles devices, hell even sdta has a near copy of cherry bomb but with actual flats on it lol
Haters can’t stand when they take their women to the range and they are immediately curious towards my Q rifles. The biggest Chad never stood a chance.
