Take your time decorating your new space. Think you may get alot of pressure, being and online influencer, to have everything done in an "instagram worthy" fashion right away, but this is YOUR space. Enjoy the process of making it your own. We'll stick around for the realness. 😊✌️❤
LOVE the long vlog!! I can’t get enough of your videos. What if we did a “what I accomplished” list at the end of the year? Where we can check off what we did on our goals, as well as, add the things we did that we didn’t know to put on our goals list. Kind of as a closure to the end of the year
On the whole gentle self-parenting thing, oftentimes when we do that, we get less productive, not because it's not working, but because we're realizing our worth outside our productivity. Idk, just thoughts 💜
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! I am moving out next week and I am a mess, nostalgic, scared, worried I did not pick the perfect place, it has been hard to sleep and function. You give me so much comfort just watching you exist! Love you from Bulgaria girl
To make finding a therapist less stressful for myself, I just found a local therapy place and filled out forms online about why I wanted therapy, and then they matched me with a local person to talk to in person. It was great and I didn’t stress about finding “the right” therapist. I just went with what was nearby. And talking to someone in person is honestly so nice, at least for the first session:)
Hannah, I've watched you for YEARS now and I just have to say I love you so much and the new journey you're on! I've been so busy that I got a bit behind on your videos but it was just so relaxing to clean for the past 4 hours and watch what I've missed. Please keep doing what you're doing because you are so loved and appreciated by many!
Dear Hannah, first of all I want to tell you that you are a great woman. You are disciplined, you work with goals and you do so much more than just the goals you write down. Try to be a bit gentler with yourself. If something doesn't work, no big deal. You also need time to get used to your new phase. You don't have to think about anything when scrolling on your phone, that's what you need at that moment. Once again, you are doing so very well. And if your head is less full, you will find your way to a therapist. Keep up the good work. X, greetings from rhe netherlands
Sending some love 🥰Hi Hannah, I’ve been watching your channel since 2021 when I switched colleges, and I honestly don’t think I can put into words how much you’ve helped me through these past few years. Your videos and podcasts have been like a lifeline, especially when you talk about mental health. Your episode on anxiety really hit home for me and gave me strength on the days I felt like giving up. Your work ethic, your kindness, your raw honesty-it’s all so inspiring. You’ve shown me that it’s okay to struggle but also how to push through with grace. I’m graduating this December. You’ve kept me going, even when things felt impossible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a light. ❤
Yeah Hannah it happens every time our houses changes but it’s a saying house is just a house the ppl make it home ….so your home will be wherever u are .. 🌟
hi, just wanted to say thank you for giving me the motivation to get out of the house, go to a cafe, grab a coffee and inspire myself because this has been a very stressful time for me. Thank you for that, and also i'm a real one
i really love watching your videos. as im in my early 20s you inspire me to be independent and confident. after going through a breakup trying to find myself again, watching your videos inspires me.
i never get tired of saying how AMAZING u are, your discipline, your love for cooking, your style and a lot more of things, we have so much in common ( taurus of course!!!! ) and i always felt you very relatable and as a role model for me, next year in March or before that I'm moving to Denmark (I'm from Argentina) so that's going to be a huge change for me, and watching your videos helps me a lot to be more productive, organized, and focus on what i want for me. thank you again for being so loyal to you and an inspiring woman.
First: thank you for an hour long video ❤. Second: you seem genuinely happier there. You soul is glowing.and I hope it keeps that way. Third: I bought Seven Year Slip while I was visiting NYC because of you and it’s my next reading. ❤ Can’t wait for the new experiences you’re gonna live and share with us. ❤
first of all, LOVING the hour-long video. secondly, unrelatedly, loving the hair + makeup you're wearing! it suits you perfectly color- and vibe-wise 💖
To see you sponsored by Notion made my entire day. I started using Notion because of you and I seriously rely on it for everything from grad school to grocery list and more😅 Happy to see you happy in SC
There were two things that helped me get out of my own way to complete my daily goals that I just kept putting off day after day. 1 - The Mel Robbin’s podcast or You Tube videos. I prefer the podcast as I can list to them while I get items on my daily goals completed. 2 - switching to the Daily Grind planner and if you do not want to spend the money on the planners just watch some videos and learn her way of setting up and doing the daily planner and goals. I tried forever to get into a daily exercise goal and other daily habits along with just being more productive and once I found this it was amazing the difference for me.
OMG the thing with exercise was 100% me!!! I also thought i needed to work out first thing in the morning, but I love my quiet mornings, so I decided to work out at 1pm... literally BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!!! I'm not always the most motivated at that time but discipline is key!
I'm an 3pm to 5pm workout person. I feel good if I do it between those hours. I still have time afterwards to cook and chill for the rest of the night. Also when I moved to the south from Chicago, I still miss the fall. It's a tough adjustment since it's summer weather til December.
I understand what your talking about when you describe the way the book is written. I understand. I think that's why I like James Patterson. I love the rhythm and the way the chapters are not 25 pages long. His are short and make you want to hurry to the next chapter.
Hannah! I need the podcast back! Please 🙏 I miss it so much! 😢 BTW this vlog was awesome 🤩. Another thing, *Divine Rivals & Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross*. You will love those books!
You know you can switch the way you open your dryer . It’s super easy! I didn’t know until my hubby did it to ours. I would struggle putting clothes into the dryer cause the door would be in my way lol
your apartment looks so spacious compared to your last place hard to belive you had alot of your things in the old place and they look so great now!!!!! you can really spread out!!
I'm not a super big reader, but you are the one person I will take book recs from! I have loved so many of your recs so far and added 3 more to my tbr from this video!
Watching you do these Quarterly videos all year has makes me want to plan to do them for myself next year. I am a 33 year old childless cat lady lol But we honestly live very similar lives and vibes. I'm from the midwest but moved to socal 2 1/2 years ago. So I understand making the cozy vibes too lol
i look forward to these videos every week! i also realized i wanted to thank you for getting me back into reading :’) it was one of my favorite hobbies for so long n life jus kept happening for me to put it off until i saw your video saying how incredible the midnight library was for you. it changed my mf life n that was one of the first books i devoured in YEARS so thank you vv much
I usually really like Hannah's video's - the ones about life in NYC were especially good, seeing her move to Charleston was fun as well. Her apartment is really nice. However, this is the most boring video. Didn't enjoy 30 minutes of talking about books, luckily skipped ahead. Laundry and dishes, ok but she spends 10 minutes saying 5 times that she is going to do laundry (I think over the course of a month she is wasting hours just talking about chores before starting them). The jumper was an unflattering outfit and odd choice for housework, much better choice was the sweatshirt and shorts later on. I would love to see more about restaurants in the area, coffee shops, seeing her try new fall flavors and some of the other interesting topics we have had in the past!
Regarding the therapy try to start using minimizing words and see what happens, sometimes it’s a healthy thing to minimize something so that it’ll be easier to do and seem like less of a mountain of a thing/task
Yeeeeesssss it was difficult to get into the first few pages for some reason but it was soooo good!! I wish i could read it again for the first time haha
I’ve been waiting for this Notion sponsorship for AGES!!! I was introduced and actually encouraged to use it by the video you made on it and I’ve been loving it ever since!
I live in Charleston, and I feel so sad for a NYC fall-loving girl because it just won't look like that down here. The South is beautiful for its warmer weather and mild winters. If you want some fall colors, you'll need to go to the mountains in North Carolina. Charleston fall/winter is like a perpetual early spring, and I love it for that. I hope you still enjoy the fall vibes, I think because it's a college town you can get at least the fall academic vibes.
I totally agree with your take on The Great Alone. I, too, was emotionally involved. I recommend her novel, The Nightingale. That was excellent as well.
Uh that slurp is irritating and obnoxious. Love all her talk about coffee and the video where she visited about 5 coffee shops in NYC in one video and discussed different flavors, but her slurping amplified is a bit childish.
I HIGHLY recommend The Christmas Fix by Lucy Score for the perfect Hallmark Christmas vibes!!! I read it during my family’s Christmas vacation to NYC and it was just a whole vibe! 😆
My goal: get you to read/review my books lol. Your reviews are always so insightful, and I’ve picked up quite a few books that I might not have based on your reviews.😊
@Hannah, if you search YT, you can probably find a video that shows you how to switch your dryer door so it opens the opposite way ( open side towards washer). Much more convenient,😊
Omg Hannah based on all the mystery trillers you've read I think you'd like The Reappearance of Rachel Price by Holly Jackson!! It got me guessing and second guessing everything all the way until the end
GUUUUUUURL, NOTION???? Okay, okay 😏 I'm so glad, so happy for you!!! It's so exciting, hope great things keep coming!! Also, I'm an afternoon workout girlie and it is the best, 10/10 I would recommend, wishing it suits you well! Love youuu, thanks for this long video 🩷.
