I think getting a 3.0T would be smart move, most of your subs are probably OG’s, that platform has a lot of fun stuff now and the 3.0 Q50’s have more aftermarket than the Q60 but the Q60 looks way better. Also your connections and the Nissan/Infiniti world people probably still correlate to you but I think it’d be a good move down the road. Regardless I still enjoy your content and the community appreciates what you’re doing and have done.
q50 was your platform and the reason many watched. you didn’t mention or at least properly mention you sold it. a proper send away video would’ve been your biggest video. then you just randomly started buying other cars that made your already established views not care as much. you were the OG of infiniti installs/information along with boosted motion and i hated that you let so much potential of the channel slip through. i built my q50 all with your advice so ill always be a supporter. good luck man !
You haven’t been following along then because I mentioned several times that the car was sold - even had a video specifically about selling the Q50 mentioning why and how much I sold it for and discussing the market. You must have missed them. And I didn’t randomly start buying other cars. There have been several cars along the way since very early on. I didn’t let any potential slip through. There is only so much you can do with a car and only so much joy you can get out of it. No RU-vidr can grow beyond a certain point until stuck to one car. Trust me lol. I’ve had the most growth in the last 6 months - no Q50. BUT I don’t do it for views or clout. I do what I enjoy and being tied to one car when there are so many other awesome cars out there is a waste of life. Ifbjm having a good time, I hope that translates and views will come. The point of the channel is to explore all other platforms. We can’t be so narrow minded. Explorer other platforms. Learn new things. That’s what life is about.
Building up a 3.0t is good move. I've been looking at those and the redsport 400 versions of the q50/ 60. The prices in North Carolina are fairly decent with 50-60k miles right now.
Man I really appreciate the help and content that you provided for the q50 and still rock the scs custom cat back till this day (years and still sounds amazing)
Yes - the 3.0t ! Finally, lol. Selfishly, I would rather you get the Q50... but... I understand why you would get the Q60 (I would probably do the same, in your shoes) and would be excited for you to enter the platform. Slap some new turbskis on it and launch it to the moon ! Lol. Lots of opportunity for content and viewer growth with the 3.0t Great channel and keep up the good work !
I like the SCS catback from what I've seen & heard. Problem is, I'm scared to pull the trigger on it because I want to have the piping be MANDREL bent instead of CRUSHED bent.
It’s not “crush” bent. Such a dumb term people use 😂 there are no right bends so there is very little loss in diameter. There is no added benefit to mandrel bend in this system.
I would love it if you get the 3.0t. Even though a lot of your 3.7 videos talk about the differences between the cars, it would be cool if you were working on the platform that i have
@ravenmoto5948 I'll just upgrade the turbos once they go out. 90k miles and still going strong handing out gap certificates. I'd say they're doing their job.
@SpeedCultureStudios I just expected more considering it's quoted at 320+ flywheel power. None the less the engine is still running smooth, so I can't complain.
@@AZ-hf9ow yeah but 320 crank is like 270 wheel and it’s an old car so probably making 250ish and torque even less-which is what you “feel” more than power. While the 3.0t is only rated around 300 crank but actually is underrated and makes that at the wheels stock with probably 100 more ft lbs of torque so it’s going to be a significant difference.
