I did this job on my 3.0 last month. I dropped the transmission and did it with the engine still on. I had the workshop manual which helped a lot but not as much as your video. Sir, you are a true master. Thank you so much!!!
Thank you so much brother you help me alot🙏 But my question is what can i use to lock camshaft and crankshaft position if i don't have timing tool set?
This engine timing chain is located at the back so you have to turn the harmonic balancer clockwise to check for timing marks is correct???? Well explained bro keep it up 👍👍👍
Hello Mr. Hanish, it is exactly how i did explain it in this video, when turning the engine from front at the fun's drive belt is located, turning to the right in the same time if looking to the back of the engine timing will be turning to the left and all chain tensionners are located to work with this engine to turn to the left because timing chain are located at the back of the engine, so when working on this engine to set the timing chain at the back of the engine you can not turn it to the Right from the Flywheel !!! put if you are turning the engine from the front of the engine at the harmonic balancer , you can turn the engine to the Right Because the timing chain at the back of the engine will be turning to the left and the tensionners are working in the Correct way and the chain will not Jump. i know you will Understand what i mean, Because you are a Smart Man, and i like your Comments.
If I’m just pulling the heads off can I bring the engine to TDC and put in the cam locks and the crank lock bolt before removing the cam pulleys? Is this the correct way
