I stumbled upon your videos a couple of weeks ago. I told my friends and girlfriend about your channel and they all love it. You're a great narrator and a great writer. I think that what you are doing is excellent and very important. Shining a light on what prison life is like hopefully will bring some much needed changes. Considering how youtube's algorithms seem to work, I'd say that you're about to get much much more subscribers and it's well deserved.

How are religious people treated in prison Shaun? If someone is a devout Christian or a Buddhist are they still asked to commit murders or are they victimised in any way? Did you meet any devoutly religious people and how did they handle themselves?
One of my friends claimed that saying something like "Look man, I don't want any trouble, and you're not going to prove anything by smashing me" if you're a smaller/weaker person going into prison, that it is a, and i quote; 'sure fire way to prevent yourself getting any trouble from anyone' Thoughts? I can see the logic behind it but I don't really think many people would react to that too kindly

2 Tonys, I knew a guy at work called Tony and we used to call him Tony 2 times. He used to tell us storys and they would last for anything up to an hour and just as you thought the story was coming to an end he'd start the story all over again.
Shaun can I ask how many times you did Ecstasy? Was it a once a week thing like modern ravers claim you should keep it? I'd imagine in the early days maybe that information wasn't as known. Also do you feel any lasting effects? Don't mean to get personal but I did it 50-60 times within a year in a half span and if I'm honest there's probably some very minor lasting effects with mood stability etc. Cheers!

Question: Footballer Adam Johnson was sentenced 6 years in Prison in March 2016, and in April 2017, footage emerged from his prison capturing footage of him talking about his conviction with other inmates. Surely this would have got him smashed, if not killed? What's your take on this?

Have you had much trouble outside of prison by ex cons for what you've been talking about at all or just when you were in there?
I've never understood dealers getting people killed because of drug debts-yes give them a beating or even a little torture but if you kill him that debt wont get paid. I understand it sends a signal to other people but im pretty sure a torture session would do the same. Can anyone explain why murder is better to dealers to deal with debt rather than daily torture?

I know your experience is primarily with the US justice system but what’s your position on the UK sending people to jail over online “hate speech” and comments on social media? Shouldn’t they be focusing on the violent criminals and pedophiles instead? Especially given that there has been evidence of grooming gangs in the UK.

I would have thought shaun that any one in the mafia would be well looked after in prison even bribing prison guards from the outside. with your knowledge I would have done a Shawshank redemption on the guards just before I was due to leave.
Let's say you want to stay out of trouble and avoid any write-ups so you have a good chance of parole. Is it possible to avoid getting into any fights? Is it possible to avoid getting written up for any reason?
How do gang affiliations work when entering or being released from prison? Like if you go in as a member of a gang will you still be part of that gang while on the inside or is it considered separate and if while in prison if you join a gang such as the AB are you still part of it if you get released?
I was watching your videos and had a question. If the gangs are racially segregated, where would I (a white Mexican) belong? With the Mexicans or the whites?
The guards or the in-mates? And i'm talking notoriously dangerous through associates, El Chapo, more power than sense and coming with bigger consequences than it's worth killing them off, have you seen at any point where an inmate has been "above the law" in some sense where even guards are reluctant to handle them.
Q: Is there anyway to get out of a gang once you've joined. Also will they allow you to finish your sentence or will they always try to make you increase your sentence? Finally, what's the real benefit for being in a gang, once you consider the down sides.
