I recently did i flight from Brisbane to Perth on Qantas’ 737-800 and the leg room wasn’t great for the 5hr and 20mins flight, both that and the flight back to Brisbane were completely full so you’re very lucky to get a whole row, great video as always 😁
Good to get a glimpse of the nightlife in Adelaide. I couldn`t contemplate an early flight like that after a night out Jayden, so you`re a better man than me!! Glad you enjoyed your time in Darwin.
Oh the good old days! I used to loathe aeroplanes. Now i would like to be in one, just for the sake of going somewhere, anywhere! LOL! Thank you for the video!
I had a late night too (12:30 am) haha. So I am seeing this later than usual. Nice that things were open for you in the lounge. Almost forgot the hukes in the plane lav, 😮😮😮 You must be knackered indeed. 😂 Hi John, Lee and Lily. Lucky John lol Thanks Jayden.
Another flight exceeding expectations… Qantas just seems to understand distances and having the cooked meal, bar service and inflight entertainment makes a huge difference. Great views too! 👍
I'm a full time student and have some side hustles :) I travel probably every other three weeks. I'm using this opportunity (can't go overseas) to travel within and explore Australia before I finish my study in Australia. I'm an international student from Hong Kong and I'm finishing my degree next month.
Nice review Jayden. Did you get out and about in Darwin? I always enjoy it when you show us the city that you are staying in. You must be so happy that you can shower again in the lounge 😊. That is such a nice perk. I have to ask you if you felt the earthquake that was quite noticeable in Melbourne recently? I heard that it was felt in Adelaide but don't know if you were at home at the time. Take care and enjoy your weekend. 👍🤗❤🛫🙏🌎
Just within the Darwin region :) I can start renting car next month so can't wait to explore Australia even more! No I did not feel the earthquake, my cat and I were asleep haha. Some friends in Adelaide felt and had to evacuate their apartment buildings.
Great video, Jayden! It's great how you've been able to get whole rows to yourself, especially after the short night before. 😊 Can't believe you were able to wake up functional after such a late night. Loved the comment about the aliens not being able to fly! Safe travels!
Wow! That’s great service for a short haul national flight! Breakfast, tea/coffee, extra water, a Lindt chocolate and WiFi (even if it wasn’t consistent) that’s excellent!
Have not been to Darwin for about 10 years. Love the place though, had many good times there. I could not survive on 2 hours sleep 😴 Great video though, thank you Jayden, as always! 👍👍👍
"If the aliens could fly we would all be dead now" I love how you said that so subtly😂😂 Great flight review mate! Hopefully domestic travel will ramp up again soon. 👍🏼
another great video. I love how HONEST you are. if something is YUK you say so, which is great to know. I was surprised that the charger ports didnt work, especially as you said it was a fairly new plane. did you report it to them. maybe they have an on off button.. haha. Wow, Darwin looks amazing. those beaches :) look forward to your next report. have fun
I've had those problems before on those 737 and I guess it's just the plane getting old. I didn't report it to the crew haha. Darwin was amazing, definitely going back soon! thanks Den!
9:40-9:42 - no coat hook on the side of the seat back because someone FINALLY realized how useless they are! 😁 10:48-11:05 - wow, a hot breakfast like that on a domestic flight, and delicious to boot! Try getting that on any US carrier. FYI, cooked spinach can taste really nasty if not seasoned properly. The flying time between Adelaide and Darwin is about the same as from Milwaukee to San Diego (a route I fly frequently to see my mom and sister), but we have no direct flights at all. Such a shame, since I'm sure most people prefer them. Love the vlog, and you made me SO hungry with that spicy menu! Funny how you happily said at the beginning of it that you basically didn't plan on sleeping...I couldn't do that even when I was your age. Great trip report and vlog, Jayden!
how dare qantas not putting the coat hooks on this and my NEXT flight too😳 haha I'll settle with a biscoff cookie on a transconental US flight 😝 Spinach is one of my favourite veggies, I bake it with cheese HAHAHA I did cheat and slept for an hour and a half 😂 didn't expect my nigh to end so early!! Thanks Britt!
@@JaydenWong thanks. I fear it will last until December. I have been up to Darwin 4 times. Did not do the Kakadu or Lichfield parks. Can't wait to go one day again. Cheers.
I tend to spot a tendency that the more you go further to the back, the bigger chance of you getting the whole row for yourself. I took several flights which supported this tendency, so after the seatbelt sign was off, I moved fo the back without any hesitation 🤣
Hi Jayden. Your kitty is so cute 😍 I will admit that hot breakfast on the plane looked a bit gross, probably because things were stacked on each other...but it was free . The plane seemed to take forever to lift off from Adelaide, considering how few passengers were on board. As for that toilet, I reckon if you hung clothes on those coat hooks it would then take up what little room there is in there. Or....they are to hang clothes on so that people are a bit skinnier ( especially in winter), and then have more chance to actually fit on the loo. !🤣🤣🤣
I'm glad the plane took its time to reach the height, could see the Adelaide metro area a bit better haha! Oh yes if I hang my puffer jacket, it would take up the whole loo haha!!
Great trip report mate. Download speed refers to the speed at which your internet connection is able to retrieve data from the internet. Upload speed refers to the speed that your internet connection can allow data to be sent from your devices to the internet. Streaming videos, for example, use download speeds, whereas upload speeds are only utilized when a user is uploading a photo to social media and stuff like that.
Dont worry about packing on trip away…. Empty suitcase and come back with loads for a new wardrobe. On the other hand, only worth it if the trip is SG or HK
We have a pandemic playing out worldwide and in Australia, people aren't flying as much as they did, so of course any aircraft isn't going to be totally full and you have more of a chance of empty rows.
well you'll be surprised a lot of WA and SA interstate flights are 100% full because they can't go to Sydney or Melbourne. But I'm avoiding those packed flights haha
The speed test os basically how many mbits or mbs per second youre internet speed is . (Basicly how fast you can browse the internet) 15 mbits was ok for a airplane its basicly about 2 megabytes speed per second its ok for browsing but not watching let alone uploa videos.
@@JaydenWong Yes if few people are using the internet anywhere the internet by default will be faster . When you use the internet together with many other people (and the speed isnt the best ) you will notice alot more page loading and video stream buffering aswell.
OMG.... I want to watch Quiet Place II !!!! Malaysia's theatre are able to operate but not for Sarawak's wuhuhuhu.. I missed the part II one. Does anyone know where i can watch the movie? Sincere thanks . Netflix i don't think had yet, since the movie is quite new.
@@JaydenWong Nope, because as Part I I’ve already watched it. It’s because of this Delta we’re facing in Sarawak right now. So our cinemas are not allowed to operate😭 How much I really wanted to watch Part II as Part I is really awesome🤣 Loving the “Quiet Scenes” for this kind of movies🤣😍
Wow I loved that restaurant menu with all the chilli signs. Big fan of Sichuan food - even been to the cafe in Chengdu that claims to have invented ma po tofu!
Having the whole row for ourself is just a heaven, I've only experienced it once, when I'm flying home from Penang, Malaysia to my hometown in Yogyakarta, we're flying on Citilink (member of Garuda Indonesia group). I sitted at a green zone (basically a seat that has more legroom), with my parents, we can't believe, it didn't took 10 minutes after we sitted until the crew closed the door, in the first 5 row there's only us, and I feel happy that I can walk around the front cabin. That's just fantastic. As usual, it's nice to see Qantas offers a free wifi, although it's quite bad, but at least there's wifi, unlike here, you have to pay for a wifi and Citilink has only 1 A320, it's free. But Garuda doesn't have one in their B737-800, they have it most in the widebody and ofc we have to pay for that. Last but not least, it's your 28th flight already, while me having no flight since my last flight at January 3rd 2020.😭😭😭😭😭
haha that's like every flight here now. they close the door very soon I board the plane because there's simply nobody else! I'm sorry you haven't flown since :( hopefully soon you can!
Jayden those seats are not comfortable enough for a bed ! You were partying to much lol 😂 Jayden thé must have been horrid cause you didn’t sanitize your seat ! Lol 😂 That was not busy but at least people were out
8:38 The wifi isn't too bad tbh, my home wifi is worse (after I beat if up jk jk jk) , 15mbps isn't good for youtube and things but it's OK. To use youtube and things you're looking at 35-50mbps minimum for no lag, and if you uhm... want, to stream AND watch then you have to get better upload speed
@@JaydenWong oh yeah btw I dare you to write who knows about this cat on a piece of paper, put it on your cat and use that as the intro/outro for your next video
