After arriving into Singapore Changi Airport on a previous flight, it was time for me to catch my connection. Onboard this Qantas Airways flight, I fly an 11 years old Airbus A380-800, VH-OQC, which is in the newer livery compared to my previous Qantas flights.
As I already had my boarding pass, there was no need to check in so I simply transferred to Terminal 1 via the Skytrain. Our plane had already arrived at Gate C23 so we patiently waited until boarding commenced. I settled in Seat 74A in a very warm cabin. As soon as we pushed back, the cabin became cooler as the air-conditioning began to function. We then taxied to the runway and took off towards Sydney. Dinner was served shortly after takeoff and I watched some shows on the IFE system before getting some sleep. I eventually woke up and a very limited, light breakfast of only fruits was served! I heard that passengers who flew on the earlier route from London to Singapore had to experience the same breakfast which was really concerning. It was refreshing, sure, but I wish there was at least a better choice for meals, especially a hot breakfast like on other airlines. Eventually, we got closer to Sydney and it was time for landing. We touched down and parked at Gate 10 of Terminal 1. There was one final connection to go! Thanks for watching and see you then :)
