Between 13-17 July 2020, Qantas Airways operated a series of farewell flights for their Boeing 747s with all "profits" being donated to the Qantas Founders Museum in Longreach, Queensland, and the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) at Albion Park in New South Wales.
The last 747 in the Qantas fleet is VH-OEJ "Wunala" a Boeing 747-400ER. On Monday 13 July OEJ flew a SYD/SYD joy-flight for a few lucky last passengers. The flight took off from Sydney International airport and flew over Sydney Harbour, north to the NSW Central Coast, back over Sydney Airport, then south to the Illawarra region before returning to Sydney Harbour and landing back at Sydney Airport.
This vid shows the takeoff and landing of OEJ at Sydney. There will be another video coming of the Canberra farewell flight which was on Friday 17 July.
