Holy cannelloni, this is amazing! Such an impressive instrument and player. Really liked her song. But can't help but wonder...70-something strings - that'll take a while to tune. And it has levers for changing the pitch and the bridge is mounted on fish skin? That's not helping with keeping in tune, isit? :D

Well, I can tell from your surname that you originate from Armenia. I don't know if you live there but I think the qanun is also music instrument used in Armenian Traditional music. If you do live in Armenia, search, find and go for it!

It means law because the name is coming from the Greek word "κανόνας'' which has the meaning of law in ancient Greek also the Greek word expressing this instrument is ''κανονάκι" which has the exact same meaning.
