We were lucky enough to fly back from seeing family in Brisbane on a Boeing 777 and this time we flew on Qatar Airways in Q-Suite... is it really as good as the reviews say...

We are Justin, Tristan & Josh
We started cruising in 2019 with a Norwegian Fjords cruise on P&O Britannia, we fell in love with the ship and cruising and quickly booked a further cruise in the summer on MSC Bellissima. We now have completely caught the bug and have over 9 cruises in the next 12 months...

This looks amazing! I always find the privacy the best part on these long haul flights - it's so much easier to get some (much needed) shut-eye when you feel like nobody's looking at you! Looks an amazing experience - I imagine Josh would be in his element in here!

This was definitely an experience, that breakfast looked incredible. thanks for sharing with us!! It was worth every penny, I couldn't imagine enjoying such a long hour flight sitting in the ''economy section'' 😂

I couldn’t understand him when he said Air New Zealand either! 😂 Never flown Qatar, but all the business class seats are like that now for int. Flights, at least Virgin Atlantic (who did a fantastic cream tea right before arrival in US from LHR, dinner the night before, breakfast & they have a great lounge in LHR also with table service) & American flights I last had to US were. 14 hours is still long, though, even with movies, pillow, amenity kit, blanket/fold-down seat, pjs, great food & drink. Couldn’t fly that long without it. I still can’t sleep much on planes. Josh & Bunny are so cute.❤ Nicer bathroom, on Qatar, though! Breakfast looked great.

You could have used the Qantas lounge as well btw as Qatar are part of Oneworld!

No… I know Emirates have a bar but think it’s only really the A380 on Qatar that have a bar as well… could be wrong though 😃

Like the idea… there are shipping lanes etc however ultimately it’s up to the crew/captain

I'd like to add to my previous comment. It's so amazing to see you guys having a wonderful time as a family on this flight. It may even persuade me to give Qatar a try, in incognito jew mode lol, my Englis name is very Scottish, so I could hide in plain sight (i'm sure G'd will forgive me, especially for those Eggs royale and the banans ( I hate bananas but that looked so good!)

Thanks ☺️ As you can tell we can’t hide the fact we are an LGBT family 😃 and wouldn’t anyway… we do make some conscious decisions to avoid places it could be an issue or risk especially to our son… however we feel it is equally important to be respectful of others views and hopefully through our respect help other to be more tolerant of others 😃

I think it' fantastic that you take your son on these trips. I personally won't fly Qatar and often wonder why fellow LGBGT community members are willing to fly national carries from countries that will happily throw you off a roof or imprison you because you are gay. I have a Thai client who flies Qatar on a regular basis from Edinburgh to Thailand and she has had some horrendous experiences with them recently, even as a First class passenger. I personally would fly Emirates and Etihad, primarily because the UAE are Jew Friendly (Qatar are not, and the state harbours terrorists). I really enjoy your content and its thanks to Emma Cruises that I found you. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you! We try to give Josh as much exposure to different cultures. That said, we agree however the ticket was purchased through BA so most of the money goes to them not Qatar… we found the flight crews to be extremely welcoming and friendly on our flights 😃

Yeah, we're filming travel 99.9% of travelers can't afford, at a time of huge inflation - then flog it for the 💰 to pay for it 🔄🤨

As we stated we used loyalty points from flights I do for work built/saved up over multiple years to pay for the flights… we saved for a long time so we could do something special on such a long flight… 😃
