If you want to charge your phone, don't buy a USB power bank. You already have a bunch of LiPos. Get an XT60 to USB adapter and charge off your mini quad batteries! But what you really want is one of these QC3.0 (quick-charge 3.0) capable adapters, because they can charge your phone way faster than a standard adapter.

Funny I’m charging my phone with my AOKoda while watching this video about the AOKoda I bought to storage charge my LiPo batteries. Right out of the package other than implementing a Deans to XT60 adapter, the low voltage appears to be preset to 7.4V when connecting a 2S LiPo - Perfect! I didn’t need to change a thing. Thanks buddy! 😊

so what we really need now is a device that converts XT60 to the full 100W USB-C, so that we can charge laptops and stuff with it.

I have one of these AOKoda XT60 to USB QC3 devices. When I purchased I thought I will be able to charge 3 times my phone from each of my LiPos, but unfortunately I was able to charge only little bit more than once before LiPo was on Low side. I didnt went agressive on Low protect and they were only 3S 1500 Mah LiPos. My Phone has 12.9 Wh and one of my 3S LiPo had 16,6 Wh. RC/Drone LiPos are good for high discharge rates, but not really huge capacity.
@vaguedirector_7342
@vaguedirector_7342 5 лет назад
If the AOKODA defaults to 3.8V you could use it as an easy storage discharger which is neat. However I'd still use a regular powerbank to charge my phone since they're quite a bit safer and good ones have higher energy density batteries inside. A 1.5Ah 4S lipo only holds 22.2Wh of energy while my Xiaomi powerbanks hold 37Wh for the 10000mAh model and 74Wh for the 20000mAh model, all while taking up roughly the same space in a bag and being USB rechargeable.

There's a white label product I've found that has both USB-A and USB-C outputs. A couple of branded versions are: BliliDIY or LaDicha XT-60 to USB. A search throws up some other sources. Not sure I'm brave enough to be the first to try it with my MacBook though! Finally a use for the big LiPOs I bought for the big drone I built that was immediately obsolete.

Aokoda adapter is definitely the way to go. Wish it did have a memory function for the per cell LVD. The ISDT looks great but just like an iPhone, it was designed for looks primarily and function secondary. Being able to actually SEE information is always better than "I gotta remember these freaking blink sequences." I wish there was a dissection video of the Aokoda from someone like Big Clive, just want to know for sure that, at the very least, it is built well enough not to cook my $900 phone.

Joshua Bardwell have you tried the 1s charger? I've owned one now for over a year and it is a damn good charger. It seems to be able to charge different mAh batteries at the same time. Example, I charge 450 mah and 600mah g&b batteries at the same time. It's been 4 months with daily use and they are still performing strong. But I still charge in my unused fire place just incase but...so far so good.

Something like this is what I'm looking for to be able to charge my Avata batteries where AC power isn't available. However this has a USB-A connector which does not support "PD" negotiable fast charging that is in the Avata Adapter for charging it's batteries (it will charge up to 45 watts with a compatible PD/PPS USB-C power supply). As you say, I already have plenty of mongo batteries to use for power. Have you seen anything like this that supports USB-C "fast charging"? Thanks!

I made a simple XT60 to 2x USB charging ports for emergency charging, but it's dumb, only has an input voltage LED display and no cutoff so it can kill lipos. The ISDT UC1 & AOKoda look much better. Although I'd need two fully charged 1300mAh 4S packs to charge my phone if it was flat, it has a 10,300mAh battery...!

Ulefone Armor 3. Waterproof to 2 meters, 2160x1080 res screen, 21 megapixel camera, crazy rugged, watch the torture tests they put it through on RU-vid, like driving over it with a car and banging nails into wood, with the screen... The biggest downside though is the weight, 365g.

licensetodrive Just looked it up and I’m sold on the specs alone. I’m a broke teenager and my first phone was (and is) the iPhone SE. I was sold on iPhones and Apple products for a while but now their new phones make me want to puke. I’d take a super durable phone any day over some double sided glass garbage any day. I had been waiting for the past few year for Apple to release something good...haven’t gotten that yet (and don’t think I’m going to). I am honestly looking forward to the day my phone finally dies because these Android are getting so good.

@@brodyport6395 If you buy any phone from anywhere else other than a local retailer or your phone carrier, always make sure that the phone is actually compatible with your cell phone network. That's the LTE bands I think. They are in the specs of the phone and you can ask your cellphone provider what bands they support (often it's somewhere on their support website)

Its atleast QC2.0. For me it even works better than the power bricks my phones/tablets come with. Nope we're talking about the "6 in 1 PRO-CHARGER" available from URUAV or Rcharlance.
