Real talk though. It's been truly my dream monitor. HDR sucked on PC before getting this display. Now I run games in HDR and have RTX HDR turned on for video. Brights and Color feel so sharp. And a really big thing for me is pixel response. There's no Black Frame Insertion but it doesn't need it, this thing is SO FAST. When you can run at it's full 240hz there is 0 panel blur, and below that it's minimal.

The only downside to running everything in HDR now is that video and picture capture is all messed up. I like to record clips when I'm playing games but the colors are wack when using HDR while recording in SDR. Which isn't a knock at this monitor, it's just all other technology that's the problem.

RU-vid! Surprisingly TONS of 4K HDR streaming videos that look really amazing. Just search for it and make sure the quality cog is set to display the HDR stream

If you have an Nvidia card they just added RTX HDR in the driver which will give a little HDR boost to video content in browser. Also Potplayer is a video player that can also use RTX HDR. Not exactly 'test' content but it brings everything up a bit to take advantage of the monitor a bit more.

That's lots of gushing especially for a very later HDR after party I'm sitting comfy with a 1440p IPS monitor and have no complaints. I don't need a 2160p monitor. It's too big and needs a powerful GPU to run smoothly.

I've had a couple IPS and VA HDR monitors and they never hit right with me. Especially with dark values. They were always VESA400 or 600 so technically not even HDR, just supported the input at best.

@@JerryFlowersIII lel you don't buy a monitor, whatever the panel is, without going to a shop and actually looking and testing it. Not ever IPS panel works for me. VA I've never liked it so it was never a choice. VESA? lol it's a wall mouth for a monitor not a color standard IPS has always had the best color reproduction and supported the HDR when it wasn't called as such. They all do now duh

3:45 The non-HDR version of the image looks like an entirely-different colour profile. feels dishonest. Also, isn't HDR 400 barely HDR? Is this a sponsored video with no disclosure?
