I'm so glad you're back! I owe all of my video editing skills to you! I could never afford to go to film school so I had to go to the school of youtube tutorials and you're are BEST teacher there is😭❤
So happy to see you back! You are the only RU-vidr that can teach us something and make us laugh at the same time. You are one of the two channels that helped me to get into the video editing world, and I will be forever grateful. While you were away I had the chance to catch up with some of the oldest episodes. And yeah - the family part is something I can well relate to - it's the most important thing in life. Can't wait to see the AI-related things that you plan 😊😊
Great to see you back Ian. We all missed you! Looking forward to the new tutorial videos. I hope we don't need to have some high end computer to do these though. Maybe you can a video on what would be a good editing/sfx system that doesn't require me to rob a bank. I for one need an upgrade and this would be great need to know information. Cheers!
Thank you for the many years of helping us to edit! I’ve been watching since I was a senior in High School and now im about to finish my masters. Time sure does fly and I’ve learned so much from you over the years. Welcome back!
my dude, back in 2016 your tutorials help me A LOT when I was in my first job as a filmaker and I was just figuring out how to use the adobe programs. Now still a filmaker and still learning everyday, and you were one of the people that help me with your channel in this process. so thank you Ian!!!
Hey, brother as a content creator, I totally get it. We both just have to find that balance between work RU-vid and family. Good luck. My friend. I wish you were in luck. If you ever need help with your Ford holler
Totally get it man, my son is in college now so I don't have that issue, but when he was young I could not imagine burning a weekend away from him. Glad you're back but family first. :)
It’s really nice to have you back. I found myself referring back to some of your old videos (they’re very helpful). It’s even nice to hear you’ve been sticking with what’s most important to you. I’m looking forward to learning how to edit more stuff. ✌️❤️
subscribed, got a new account myself and learned a lot from the days when you used to post weekly, I miss those live hangout sessions and learning to edit, welcome back Ian, congrats on being a dad
I was there. After my son was born, I stopped DJing entirely. It wasn’t until he was walking, and talking, did I return to it. Thank you for your channel, and everything you do.
I discovered you through your video on how to use Runway to green screen videos. I loved your personality and editing style, and was sad to see you were inactive. Glad that you're finally back, and that life is going well for you!
I'm so glad to see you're back, I just decided to get back into After Effects and I'm hoping this time I can do something productive with it. You've been such a great help in what I've learned so far, and I look forward to learning even more!
awww that's so awesome, i'm so glad you focused on spending time with your family. can't wait for the new uploads, you've taught us all so much! we thank you, legend.
First off, I think all of us are so happy you are back but also completely understand that family comes first! I posted a series on RU-vid and couldn’t even last a year due to burnout. I felt like I was saying the same things over and over again so I feel you on that! I’m so excited for this new chapter because the video editing space is going to change dramatically and it’s going to be very important to stay on top of the changing landscape. I finally tore myself away from Adobe and started to use Davinci and I’ve been impressed with the free version! I’m excited for you to cover it on here as well! I think I speak for all of us when I say that we are excited you’re back, we understand if you aren’t consistent and we appreciate all of the knowledge you give the community.
Your past, current, and future tutorials will always be valuable to us, especially to people who are only able to learn through YT tutorials like me. We'll be here to watch and learn from your videos anytime. Thank you!
Literally the best tutorial channel on RU-vid. You are the reason why it was so much less intimidating to learn premiere pro and after effects for me. I cannot thank you enough.
@Jay Ong My children are the BEST thing that has EVER happened to ME. Since my 1st child My life has been FLYING by. Always busy.❤️wouldn't change it for nothing.
back in covid time i learned how to make lyric video by watching your video, fast forward today I quit my engineering job and persuing my career as a full time lyric video artist and yeah I am really doing good. obviously I missed you and you missed me, thank you for coming back and inspire people like me. mad respect, hope you and your family are doing great.
eyyyyy my sensei welcome back I'm a video editor now , and anyone asks me to recommend yt channels , most of times i tell theme about you you were so unique tutorial style wise and content wise , you were always have smt new to add to me glad you came back
Man, I switched to resolve in the time you were gone, it’s fantastic now, way more stable than premiere, the UI feels just right and the fairlight page is just amazing for sound design, mixing and mastering. Great to have you back though, try to still be mindful of your family though.
dude you kidding? you changed my entire outlook on editting and how i organize my stuff! (i've rewatched your posthaste video every time i've gotten a new video so i can follow it again lol) Thanks for all the great work man!!!!!@@LearnHowToEditStuff
Deserved break my friend, been earning a lot from you! I had one question, do you usually script your videos before or just go with the flow? Everything seems so smooth.
I am super happy you're back and I totally understand about being a dad. Since I've learned so much about Premiere from you over the years. What are your thoughts about the mass exodus from Premiere to Davinci? Will you be staying with Premiere or making the move? I so missed the 🦆
He's still alive This was a triumph. I'm making a note here: huge success. It's hard to overstate My satisfaction. Aperture Science. We do what we must Because we can. For the good of all of us. Except the ones who are dead. But there's no sense crying Over every mistake. You just keep on trying Till you run out of cake. And the Science gets done. And you make a neat gun. For the people who are Still alive...
