i hate to say it but if you put it on your head it is not a hat. a russian babushka lady with a scarf around her head is not wearing a hat, she's wearing a scarf (also called a babushka) a muslim woman wearing a veil is not wearing a hat, she's wearing a hijab (or another kind of veil)
