Thanks man! I definitely recommend a Qi2 charger. Even though it doesn’t support it yet, next one I’m sure will. They have some great options out there.
Hey Brian! Are you gonna review the new Belkin Qi2 3-in-1 charging stand too? I’m also curious how different it is from the current Belkin 3-in-1 charging stand other than the Qi 2 support.
There’s really not much difference because the original one is MagSafe and the new one is Qi2. So for your iPhone there really isn’t much difference. Just for android devices that currently do and will support it, they will be able to charge faster on it. The AirPods and Apple Watch are still 5w.
Stuff I would like to know from a review on wireless device chargers: How does it perform with QI2 compatible iphones and older non-compatible phones? How does it perform with qi2 compatible androids and non-QI2 compatible androids? How hot does it get when charging? (With each of the devices listed above) How much power does it draw when charging? (With each of the devices listed above) I did get the physical stuff from this video which includes construction materials, adjust-ability of stand angle. I would also love to know if products use the rubberised coating that degrades over time and eventually gets sticky and must be removed with alcohol and rubbing.
Depends on whether you have other devices that support Qi2. If not, then whether you get this one or the other one doesn’t really matter. Both are going to provide iPhone and AirPods the same charging speeds.
