This was wonderful demo Qiang Huang. I love your bold and confident strokes. But this was a very old video.. your skills and talents might have surely improved 100 times much better today... please upload new demos and videos.. love ur art and eargly looking forward for ur new demos...
It Mr. huang, is the best demo on how to "work" a painting I have seen yet. Most of the others, just talk talk talk, never show you right from the get go and skip spots. So I appreciate you doing this video and will love getting your painting a day. Thanks
Dont know how anyone could dislike this.. i mean really what is he doing here that even comes close to deserving a dislike.. he is kind enough to share his talent which is just amazing
Outstandng demo, beautiful painting, and such an amazing artist! thank you for sharing your demo. I missed the words not being there to explain what you were doing, and am sorry that youtube disabled that part of it. Still, very helpful and wonderful to watch.
Liviano, potente, queda en la memoria; felicitaciones - la terminacion final ,el still, was really amazing how it looks at the end of it all. Master. Chao, from Chile.
Oh, man, that's so pleasant to see. That's what I'm trying to accomplish with my paintings, but I'm just amateur:) So beautiful, loose and at the same time perfect and complex. Too bad that's the only video in the channel, but I found his work on FB and it's fabulous.
Qiang is a fantastic painter, i don't see how he can be disliked, hugely inspiring ,but as for speeded up painting video's then i'm afraid they ALL suck, but what an artist/painter,just delicious painting's.
Love the demo. Excellent job. What is your palette? Is it the Zorn palette - titanium white, ivory black, transparent red and yellow ochre? I've noticed that you added cad red later.
I added your video to PLAYLIST: Painting Demonstration Art Videos on the blessings427 channel. I enjoy watching your painting evolve and the music & effects used in the video.
No I only watched the first seconds of it because I mistooke that little thumbnail for something interesting being painted here , and were disappointed again when saw the kettle with apples ) disappointed for the 52nd time. and decided that that was it. I would really like to see some tutorials how to develop your artistical thinking, and yes, waisting my life searching it... but can't seem to find any... *bursts in tears*
Excellent painting, I really understand the scholarship behind that. He repeated the color of the background wherever the apples turned into the value of the background, and added some of that in the fold shadows. One problem though, the two folds at the left facing the light are fallin in the exact same width and angle, making them compete and seem repetitive. But other than that, excellent.
Hi, Extremely impressed with your works. Kindly teach painting a rose. I really wonder how do you bring in values with plain straight brush strokes. Do you work wet on wet?
Very goodindeed. The perspective seems to change - the kettle starts relatively taller, but at the end appears almost in proportion to the model - is that a camera angle thing? Also the colour of the background seems to change dramatically between the final working shot and the shot of the finished painting. Varnish?? A lovely choice of subject and demonstartaion. I don't see how the kettle would ever pour, but that's irrelevant!
Also I see you have made the bowl thingy MUCH leaner and taller than it is in real life, I'd love to know more, how do you take these decisions regarding composition ?
Very nice!! Can you tell me what type of substrate you used? Also, what is the background color that you first palced on the substrate? On a side note, the folks at WMG are a bunch of a-holes.
I know u r a great painter. I have collected so many paintings of ur's. But u have uploaded only one video in you tube. Plz upload some new videos of ur's. Thank u.
Good observation, but he did fix it with more highlights and middle tones towards the end. I'm very impressed by his sense of color and skills; the only problem is the choice of music. I have to turn off the volume in order to watch this clip in peace.
uhh, nope. how do you figure a paint layer that is blended together is weaker than glazes? one layer, drying together at the same time has got to be strong. this isnt even thick painting!
d low, if you think an artist uploading a fast-lapse video is "sharing his talent, then you are just part of the herd mentality. If you want to see an artist SHARE his knowledge, check out Mark Carder on youtube.
No, it's not a cheesy way to promote someone else. There is a clear distinction between the two, in terms of how they communicate with their audience on RU-vid. A lot better than me saying that Qiang sucks :)
