I am already in favor of a season 2, now more so than ever with this theory. I also have to wonder if we will get this information in the last couple of High Republic novels to come.

If lucasfilm have any sense or perhaps a bit of shame left, they would abandon all ideas of doing a season 2 of this abomination. I mean Vernestra's centrality to the second season heavily points to nepotism and at this point it may be just a "conspiracy theory", but go through with it and it will be a confirmation of the same. Funny how all the "fans" don't talk about it though.......
