@@cobolosey did you buy the boat with fiberglass steps? I have a 580 with fiberglass steps. the tubes are 1. too thick and 2. the "V" is too flat and not deep enough. this will prevent you from trimming the boat properly as the tube ends act like trim tabs. This makes the boat difficult to control at high speeds and only turns comfortably up to a maximum of 15-20 km/h. the faster the boat goes, the less fun i have with it. due to the problem described, I am missing at least 10 km/h in top speed.i will soon make a video and put it online, on which you can see how the tube ends plow through the water.
@@scotty6334 No, I bought an aluminium Hull 650 RIB. It will arrive in a couple of weeks. I bought it from another manufacturer. I hope my V hull is deep enough because the Intention is to use it with children in it. For your boat the Tubes are touching the water even at high speeds? Thank you for your answer
@@cobolosey hard to say. I wasn't familiar with it beforehand either. on a fiberglass boat i would see it on the back of the transom. Unfortunately I don't know anything about the aluminum ribs. the problem is that the manufacturers' promotin videos are very short and uninformative. now that i know the problem and know what i have to look out for, i notice the poor driving characteristics in these videos as well.
How many of your boats meet US Coast Guard Standards, or any European, Australian, New Zealand, or Canadian standards? What type of warranty do you provide, who is the local representative for your products outside of your country?
the guarantee is worthless. I bought 3 boats. 1x with few defects, 1x with mediocre defects (fitting accuracy, processing errors) and 1x with catastrophic defects. I haven't seen a dime again. You get a lot of "SORRY" for that!
