While these characters can be cool, whenever I see them (and moreso with Qiyana than most others), I just want to see them break down over encountering an _actual_ superior being, like a demigod or celestial. Something so far above what all but the most extreme mortals (or any at all) could ever hope to equal in terms of power (or whatever else best goes against their egotistical nature).

Yeah i like qiyana a lot too in terms of character and personality it is very strong and distinguished but her visual design is very ok not good not bad either

@@aliyutube I think getting rid of them and putting gold accessories on her legs and making her dress a tiny bit longer and more elaborate would look good. Something kinda like a mix of Mel from Arcane, Lunar Empress Qiyana, and default Qiyana's dress with more gold? Or keep the yoga pants, but give them more gold accessories and making the dress more elaborate.

That was my first thought when she was just dropped on the PBE and it did not make me excited to play her at all. I saw the thumbnails for alternate splash arts for her and they were so much more dynamic/powerful than what we got

Well, she has sort of been puting responsibilities upon herself in the lore. I do think that if she were to be empress it would be pretty bad for Ionia as a whole but I doubt she would regret becoming queen of Ixtal.

I feel Riot is trying to set her up as a villain in the making. Like she's not quite there yet, but with a few more developments, she could go full on villain. That would be interesting. It would be very boring if she learns the error of her ways & redeem herself. Yeah, I know she's still young & can mature out of the current personality. But it would be more interesting & unique if they go full 100 on Villain Qiyana.

Btw her animations are so darn good it feels _great_ to play as her. I have more than 500k with her now and the first and foremost reason why I’m addicted is her _extremely_ smooth playstyle and the _amazing_ animations that tie every movement together

@@ldalexandrite Good on you for learning a champ so deeply, but jsyk I am unable to have any for of respect for a main of a champion who is so ridiculously frustrating to play against. Qiyana is on Shaco-levels of annoying.

@@Ceracio man I completely understand that. Qiyana IS extremely frustrating to play against. Especially the above average ones who know how to utilize the grass Q. Straight up no counterplay for certain champs. It’s extra frustrating that Riot nerfed her passive damage but buffed the Q _base_ damage so Qiyana is even more grass spammy now. There is almost no reason to change elements since passive deals so little damage. Thus even more toxic of a gameplay.

Playing against a champ that can and will one-shot you if you make one positioning error while cc-ing you for 8 years if you ever go anywhere near a wall OR river who is also permanently invisible in the few instances where you have the upper hand is so.... ERGH! Fortunately, since the nerfs she actually requires a brain to play and can't just E-Q you for unavoidable burst with enough damage to 100-0 you if she has a serrated dirk. Now at least when you lose to her it actually feels like you were beaten by the player and not the champion.

Wishing that Ixtal would bring new monster champs or maybe some more guy characters. Actually aside from Malphite and Rengar, iirc most of current Ixtal champs are female. Hot females.

@@csodapaci Yeah, awesome artstyle, but it is just so... random. There is very few new champions artwork that aren't interesting, but it's one of them. (The skins tho, ughhh, so many random arts)

​@@Exel3nce Although the art is definitively very well done, for me I wanna say the composition feels kinda off? In Qiyana's splash the brightest spot is the area where her hand meets her hip and all the lines from the explosion also kinda "point" towards there, but it doesn't feel like that should be the main focal point. Like either Qiyana's face or her ring should pop out more. For example, a lot of other splashes either the brightest parts (really just area of most contrast, so the part that stands out the most) right around the champions face or something else visually interesting and distinct - if I look through the base splashes, Aatrox's pulsing sword is right next to his face, Ahri's magic is next to her face, Akali's tattoos, shoulder, and back which is right underneath her face, Alistar's horns, Amumu's magic etc. etc. A couple that don't fit the rule of "brightest part is next to the face" but still work would be like, Lucian's which highlights his gun, Kindred's which is a tie between the dead body and their glowing eyes, Ornn's which highlights his hands and anvil, or like Sylas' which highlights his magic and chains. tldr: Qiyana's splash doesn't really highlight anything significant about her in particular and that's why it feels weaker to me in comparison to most of the others

yes, its painfully static and surprisingly flat considering riot's usual output. Like, you could have her making a very dynamic pose, or maybe angle her above you like she's in her own personal thrown stepping over you, or you could really give some beauty to her surrounding background with lighting and such since she is part of a new region. Instead, its just a boring alpha-bitch with an explosion behind her that isn't even interesting to look at. I guess i kinda dig her alpha-bitch style since i love characters like Pacifica Northwest, but still.

@@antiyourgirl9237 I have an idea how about have her sister being able to control the air so she uses it to float around or she could make a tornado hands like the flash to fly or you could have her being able to control the plants around her so she would have grass that travel with her kinda like Lissandra with her black ice or like ming-hue 's water arms from the legend of korra however I am BEGING that Riot don't give her sexy anime girl body because like that she would just be a copy of janna or zyra like maybe make her a little chubby that could add some diversity to leugue because for some reason all fat people have to be ugly for some reason wich I find really frustrating .OR YOU COULD give her a visual scar on her face to show the brutality of her duel with qiyana or give her a short hair that could make her defrent than other wind champions like yasuo and janna or give her a acecoris from somewhere else from her region ( maybe she feel into depression after her own sister crippled and hemaliated her so she decided to travel around a little too reconcile with herself or search for a way to be more powerful than ever and she collected some sevoniers from her travels a bit cliché I know but it's not really a bad one )
