In game they don't feel like a duo at all. Valor is there for some effects and that's it. Same thing with Kindred: Wolf is just a floating head that occasionally bites an enemy

A sensible but boring design is a good design in my book.

Yeah, there isn't too much you can say that is "wrong" with Quinn, but you're also not really excited about her design. Her visuals and the impression I have of her also give me no clear idea of her personality/ who she is besides a generic ranger/scout with a bird companion. Is she reckless and always taking risks creating friction with her Demacian higher-ups? Is she aloof and principled, but maybe even reclusive - preferring the company of valor over other humans?

Hey, I'm ALMOST sure I've read Quinn calling Valor as "brother" at some point during the novella Garen: First Shield. Not really sure, but almost sure. It has been a while.

I feel bad for Quinn because it feels like Cithria took her peasant-to-knight arc but got way more popularity and attention without even being a champ. She even has a bigger bird! I think Quinn and Sona are connected through the Buvelles so I wish there was some interaction there

She's in the limbo category of league of legends champions between the old gen full of one plygon titted freaks like old Mordekaiser and Lee Sin memorable for how classic they were and the newest champions who are colorfull, snappy and rarely forgotten. That Limbo consists of desaturated, small and boring models to me. Even lovable champions like Draven and Graves who move more realistically than a Mundo sometimes come of as less fun and aren't as colorfull as they could be like Nami or Quinn. And that's what Quinn is to me when I see her. Small, gray and slow.

Idk why but her splash art makes her look more boring. I think the bird/avian details in her splash are very hidden which is a shame since those are the most unique parts of her character. I do think she is overall a decent design.

I went to do a quick google search for fanart of this girl and was disapointed by how little there was. Definetly an underrated champ IMO

When I started playing League I remember loving her splash art and skins and being very interested in her playstyle and then being very underwhelmed by her actual in-game model, so I guess I understand. Also, I was very bad at playing her (and LoL in general) so I moved to my favorite champion, Yorick (can't wait to see your take on him).

Quinn has a great, very fitting design, but let's be real, in terms of being interesting, out of the two it is Valor that is the real... carry _cackles out of existence_

I actually love Quinn. I played her top when Lethality was introduced (sheesh) and loved her a lot. Sucks that she’s always in a weird place meta-wise.

I love Quinn as a character. Her being one of the more grounded characters has an appeal to it. I also just love her kit as an ADC main. Going to be trying Quinn support actually soon. Her ult feels reasonably strong by providing insane passive move speed but next to no offensive ability while her abilities synergies perfectly with energize builds. I’d say my only complain with her is her naturally low scaling on her abilities and the insane cooldown of her vision W.

Am I the only one who feels like her splash art makes her look worse? Like I always think of her as having this drab, desaturated look when in actuallity her design is pretty colorful all things considered. Also doesn't help that you can barely see her cape too.

Quinn being so practically designed she's boring is a great way to put it. She's not terrible but she doesn't stand out either; lore or in game. She's old so I hope a VGU can help her feel more exciting and, if anything, more Demacian.

She also kinda has a bird sleeve on her right arm which is cool

It's funny how you can have Katarina, whose only distinguishing design feature is that she carries two massive daggers, and that still looks more interesting than Quinn with her ornate outfit.

Sometimes I really wonder why does Riot want to fully rework her. I mean, her lore and design are fine. Isn't enough if they give her a GU or a Ezreal kind of treatment?

The only "but" is being able to see the whites in Valor's eyes in the splash art, so unlike the naturally large irises from prey birds. Got him looking like a fried chicken mascot alongside one of the best rangers designs out there

I like to imagine Quinn has gone insane and Valor doesn't really exist so she's just talking to herself and running around like an airplane

i regularly confuse quinn and vayne but that might just be me

Ah, yes. "Incredibly effective but almost too sensible," or, "The IronStylus." My beef with her is that she doesn't make sense in terms of her gameplay design. She's supposed to be Lol's Quintessential Ranger, but they clearly couldn't figure out when designing her if that meant "animal companion ranger," or "fights in both melee and range" or "hunts down targets" or "scouts out enemy positions," and the first gameplay version of her was sort of a little bit of all those things while not being a good version of any of them, and the second version is... well, none of those things while also not really fitting into their "marksman" gameplay column. I love her to bits and have around 1000 ideas (some of them even good) as to how to change her and help her deliver on her thematic fantasy, but I'm so scare of the inevitable transformation into Sexy Crossbow Lady that she would undergo if updated.

Imagine have an obsession with bird-aesthetics bordering on fur-suit (feather-suit?) and being described as "kinda boring."

What I want to change for Quinn gameplay wise is Passive and Ultimate. Would've been better if Quinn can passively gain increased damage and vision in the jungle whilst static, and for her ultimate Valor storms in and out of Quinn's fighting area; blinding enemies and damaging them for a small amount.

Hot take, because of her design and how grounded she is. No one really plays her. She has no appeal towards most of the fan base due to how rounded she is and isn't unique at all. She is the epitome of well rounded generalized character that everyone sees is a important character but is easily forgotten. She needs a rework to make her popular or unique before she fades into away with no popularity. Cept Tyler1, because somehow that dude randomly had a Quinn OTP arc. Edit: I don't play her but people who do play her, I hate you. Why'd you gotta make my lane unplayable if jg never comes and help....always jg diff bro lol.

I always thought her kneepads seemed like a hazard with how far down they point. But I suppose looking at them again that unless she's bending her knees past straight they're a non-issue.

Its actually not that sensible as the whole leather armor thing is just a big myth a well crafted design would use a gambeson or other historically acurate armor

As a Quinn main i know that ranged top laners are pretty annoying, but there is a lot of melee champions that are so much more annoying for quinn than she is to anyone

I main quinn top and im still wondering why riot never did Dragon Keeper Quinn with valor being a small dragon, and Noxian/Marauder Quinn, valor being a crow, or what about Aviator Irelia but no aviator Quinn??? Like her whole thing IS flying.... Wasted potential.

My main issue is the color scheme. It just feels like there's too much going on in that regard.

Mentioned in your subscriber stream that the grade is just a way to end your analysis and doesn't mean anything, but have you tried doing one without the grade at all? I feel like your ending spiel is enough of a closer for consistency, and it might make more sense to end on your analysis rather than a grade that's explicitly supposed to be meaningless.

For me, the bird theme is a bit overdoesed at her design. Just a bit. I mean, just because you got bird companion doesn't mean your whole outfit has to scream bird. Two things I would change are at least her boots and let go the helment or the hood, both together don't make that much sence. But over all, I like her. It's a very practical design

Quinn in game is one of the worst champion ever designed. She sucks so hard at being a marksman that the only people she can fight are melee toplaners because of her range and her e. I hate that champion with all my might, i hope she gets reworked soon to fit more her actually nice lore thematic
