UPDATE: QiYi has said the timer will work with their display which should be released in a month or two and the next possible update will connect with other things. The welding method is its spotlight and makes the timer to be less likely to break.

You can simply turn the speedstacks timer off and on again, which will reset the inspection countdown.

The speedstacks timer is durable, I've had it over a year and the only part worn down is a little bit on the buttons, it would be cool to have a different timer, I thought there should be multiple, and there wasn't really a cubing timer either, nice video!

Ohhh wait this is different from other timers. It uses the most common type of cable. My ears were very keen to listen these as the timer is 10 dollars and cable is 2 dollars in common cases

To stop timer during inspection press escape and to stop it during solving you press reset button on the timer.

They don't have any special cable that is different from a standard one. CS timer has added the sound for QiYi.

The problem with the conection is normal. Your cable cant go all the Way through in the timer. If you look at it you can see that the port on the timer is a Little too far in. You need to get a cable with out all of that plastic around the end of the metel part on the cable.

4:00 my timer works for cstimer (yes, Qiyi timer) but I did saw off some bits of plastic around the input hole. I did that so that the cable could go in firmly

One question here .... Sometimes while doing E perm why do I get H perm instead of getting the cube solved ?!! Don't know if it happens to anyone else..... ( Please reply Shawn) I am literally tierd of this ..

It's because you were doing it from the wrong side. Two of the sides you solve it while two of the sides you would get an H perm. Do the algorithm once and you'll see the orientation it should be set up with. You can base that orientation off of the colors in the edges in corners

I have it set up with my stackmat. It might be that the sound chip is different on the QiYi and CStimer has not set it up yet. Just make sure the inspection is on and try adjusting the sound settings.

Yes. Some were removed because they were just glitchy, some are not available to get anymore, and some were removed because of copyright issues. I would get the SpeedStacks G4 or G5.

The main reason is that they have not been tested to be accurate. They most likely are, but allowing any random timer could result in people cheating.

Timers may not be the exact same as another and might count slightly faster or slower.

The SpeedStack is the original. It's the one used at comps and often most reliable. Most others are copies. I would only get SpeedStack or use a phone/computer

QiYi uses different sounds. If CStimer doesn't have the setting it cannot be done.

pretty late commenting this but you should unplug your mic from the pc in order to make the timer work with cstimer

That does not matter. You can have a microphone running for a recorder and a timer plugged into the browser. The QiYi timer uses a different sound chip and it's not recognized as a Stackmat timer.

You would just need to direct what mic goes to your browser. You might have it auto set.

Qiyi can't make anything good except the valk series,(according to me) I think they may be good at making banana cubes... 😂You see the qiyi timer proved it they should make 🍌 banana "cubes"
