QTV Closedown Tuesday 26th Jan 

Now Quentin has me watching a black screen with a feeling of excitement for something that might not happen, and a nostalgia for shows that never existed until just now......This can only end in madness!

They used to play this at the old asylum, it calmed everyone down. Including me.

I could listen to that narrator talk for hours.

I've been a big Ask Asquith fan for years, I'm glad they're finally airing some of his other works. One of my favourite moments was on Asquiths "This is your life" Episode. Where for one hilarious moment Michael Parkinson refered to him as Mick Jagger! Oh hahaha, From that moment on I couldn't help but see a slight resemblance. Those were the days, Real Television, with REAL humour.

The euphone playing made me nice and sleepy. Also, I now know what a euphone is.

It’s only now that I realise that TV in the UK in the 1970s was deliberately designed to unsettle an entire generation. QTV is not a parody, this is how it was.

This channel is fantastic, it takes me back to a little boy again, the TV, the nostalgia, absolutely amazing top job guys, oh and hilarious 👍👍
