QTV XMAS SPECIAL 

Of all the Christmas programmes ever broadcast, this is certainly one of them.

You do such a wonderful job with these videos. I really enjoy the weirdness, but at the same time there is just something so comforting watching your videos. It reminds me of missing school and staying home with a fever watching old day time childrens programs in the early 80‘s. A little too medicated on cough syrup and laying there staring at the tv fading in and out of consciousness.

Camp Coffee, Rusks, and a bottle of Wee. It's Seasonal joy, from QTV, "Don't you start!!" Is the rallying call! And Comfrey as Bagpipe....Merry Christmas to all.

I never feel as comfortably disturbed as I do when watching Quentin’s videos. I’m so happy we got another Christmas special this year. 😊

Everything seems random and erratic, and yet - everything falls in to order. The attention to detail is astonishing. I really liked that the Divel illustration was spot on with the actual real life Divel. 10/10 - I will be visited by that visage in my fever dreams either I want it or not... 🏆

I grew up watching QTV. So lovely to see that Christmas is now complete :)

As a Farleyman I found one scene particularly upsetting.

Bravo. That audible sigh of joyful recognition at the start of “It Had To Be You” was perfect. Almost as much as the times we used to put our Ronnie Flint Orchestra Christmas Favourites album on as we all sipped our rusks and bed milk on Christmas Eve just before I was allowed to put my John Wyndham Chocky Star atop the tree.

A wonderful festive helping from QTV. This one should give Mark Gatiss a run for his money!

That eastern ascent of nicki-nacki-noo via the moistcleft col is a COMPLETE bastard, and to have conquered it in Y-fronts whilst leading Comfrey's legless form is second only to Shackleton's escape from the antarctic in the ANALS of human endeavour. Delightful! Watching this and eating Christmas leftover cheese selection with biscuits and coffee. Mostly comprising of only blue cheese, brie and black pepper cheese. Thank heavens there were still French fig jam left...

Another fantastic video. I've only watched a couple so far, but they feel oddly familiar and warm? Did you kidnap me as a sleeping child, drill in to my brains and extract my very dreams, fears and nightmares? Or did I wake from Birthday boozing in to a different, better dimension? My first thoughts come to Rabies. Was this inspired by the opening credits of the 80's BBC drama 'The Mad Death'? Although I wasn't allowed to watch it. I did catch the opening credits and they terrified me, (also enthralled me and I worked out, even at a young age, the warping images were achieved by bending & stretching mirrors). My second thought was how I loved the VHS tracking effect. When I was a VT editor, my colleagues wanted to do that effect, but with pluggins (and that). As I grew up with VHS (and had a top loader that you could dub audio), I was appalled and put my foot down, firmly. I demanded they get an old VHS player from the store and by the power of waving magnets across the head, I achieved heroic results, that wowed the younger, CGI obsessed, employees, (but not to the extent that they sucked me off). My third thought, I am waffling on and my breakfast tea is getting cold. Kudos, to all involved.

The Fearless Vampire Killers (Richie & Eddie) at the Dyatlov Pass! In years to come when they make one of those "100 Greatest Christmas TV Moments" programmes, this genius viewing won't feature - but it damn well ought to. The only thing missing for me was 'Bed Warninks' instead of 'Bed Milk'.
