Between the music, Quentin's dapper sense of style, and the amazing special effects, this video really took me back to the 1970s. Well, either that or the mescaline I took half an hour ago.
We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the mescaline began to take hold. I remember saying something like "I feel a bit lightheaded; maybe you should drive...." And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the top down to Las Vegas.
Here's me, 30 odd years later remembering it like it was yesterday... home from the pub laying pissed on the couch at mum's house at one in the morning undoubtedly with chips and chip paper strewn around me with Granada TV's Charles Foster wishing me "a very good night" and drifting into unconsciousness to this strangely beautiful tune. Good grief !!! is someone cutting onions ? A beautiful & joyous memory brought to new life by Quentin and his bewitching magical slippers. Thank you Quentin.
I think this dream in essence must be a universal human experience..I can remember the feeling of joy and freedom at finally being able to fly, and skimming along effortlessly just out of reach of the ground.

This person makes the world a better place. Is not a funny wannabesmart comment. I realy mean it. This was beautiful in all it´s intention and meaning. Mr. Smirhes deepness goes beyond art. I think.
I found this hugely relaxing and it chilled me right out after all the chaos, silliness and stupid amount of bickering and division on Facebook over the elections,Brexit and politics over the last few days. Thank you for you're awesome, weird and yet strangely therapeutic channel Quentin and seasons greeting to you and friends. Best wishes for 2020 and hope for more continued weirdness and oddball antics on this brilliant channel.
Epic feature on the edge of my seat & love the soundtrack, Just worry about Quentin he's lost some muscle definition especially on his hamstring and calf's, Hope he's keeping well.
The uplifting music and the aesthetics combine to create a world in which one could sit back with a pint of Davenport's beer-at-home whilst eating a bar of Texan, Cabana and Banjo and some horror bag crisps.
As a series that is so deceptively realistic, it truly does stray away at times to realms of lyrical fancy. I thank the gods of the algorithm for letting me witness this within my lifetime!
And did those feet, in [recent] time, [Float above] England's mountains green; And was the [moley Man, smart shod] On England's pleasant pastures seen.
So I'm watching a few of these, many have those familiar dream elements. like in dreams we have a 'vehicle' or way to move but often there is a struggle with its control. The difference for example between floating in a balloon and soaring like a bird is control. Both may feel superior to driving or walking but how much control do we have? Many of these also have other familiar dream elements or things that are both fascinating but also frightening. I actually am enjoying these a lot.
Much as I hate to be a pedantic Peter, those are actually brogues and not slippers at all. Having 10 years of shoe identification under my belt has finally paid off. And they said it was a rubbish hobby.
Another wonderful outing with my beloved Quentin! My morning is so much brighter for watching this delightful absurdity and i am now free to lay many poisoned cisapride eggs.
Quentin Smirhes been digging through them all to see if it is on them! Either way, your use of it is amazing, and the video is superb! Don’t ever stop making works of art like this please!
Apparently Keith himself never kept a copy of these. I don't even know what they're called. Keith Mansfield is genuinely one of the greatest British musicians.
after this: "giving bad people good ideas, i keep giving bad people good ideas, i keep giving bad people good ideas, i keep giving bad people good ideas'"
