From my experience with engines you actually might have gotten more power from the longer intake manifolds. Even if the shorter ones flow more air. Because of velocity and the fuel having more time to vaporize and mix with the air. You should at least try the longer ones out and see what happens.

First off all, you absolute madman You have even made a gasket. I would love to have your patience... The other thing. Make a bigger platform, smth in the range of 1:8. You could use it as a universal platform for testing your creations. 100m sprint, pulling smth, top speed, stuff like that, and everything would be tested on the same chassis. Bla bla bla, you get the idea!

I did really like the carbs on the high intakes though. It looks more like a hot rod engine. What about a small waterpump add a ballvalve and a scale or load cell to measure torque.

from a tuner's point of view, the longer runners or manifolds (adapters), would have given the engine more low end torque. But if you were more interested in appearance and height clearance, the shorter runners probably make more sense for your personal preference. It just moves the torque curve peaks and numbers to a higher RPM. More top end HP, less bottom end torque. Excellent video of your machine work.

now all you need is some long tube headers for it and see if scavenging increases its performance vs just 4 seperate tubes with no scavenging

@@Alexie3333 that would hurt power just so ya know atleast in the intake it would... Toyota tryed it in a tarcel i think and while it was good down super low it was a dog at rpm.

@@oliverscorsim Are you agree or disagree with longer intake? For every engine you can design a propper intake with diameter and length of each pipe. But this only optimal for a range of rpm, like longer smaller pipes for small mid reving engines. Even possible to switch between two pipe lengths when engine is running from low rpm to high rpm. At the end it is the pulsation of the air that with propper dimension came back at the exact time and speed when the intake closed. so ramming more air in the engine.

That engine reminds me of the hoonicorn V1 (with all the throttle bodies sticking out the hood). You should totally put that body on the chassis after you are done with the engine mount!
