Hi Raffy, vibration issues can happen with any kind of mounting solution, the sensitivities lie within the phone itself 😐 That's also why we are not including the dampener in every single kit, many customers are still using devices that do not have these issues, so it would not make much sense to have this extra accessory! @@Quad_Lock , could you please describe to me how this lies upon the device and not the mount? Phones are designed to be held on a stable hand and not on a vibrating mount. Not to bash on the product but if you are designing a product to focus on the motorcycle rider demographic, you would think that it would be designed to fix the issue with vibration, which will happen, right?

Some of the recent smartphones are built with sensitive optical image stabilization, this only started appearing a couple of years ago, our mounts have never caused any vibration related issue before more sensitive smartphones were built! That's why we leave the option available to our users, if you are using a sensitive device, you can grab our vibration dampener, otherwise you can just enjoy our products as they are 👌. As I said in my previous comment, if the smartphone market keeps on releasing hyper sensitive device, maybe we will reconsider how our vibration dampener is implemented. Cheers - Tim

@@MotoRaffy to be fair they do work I had a quad lock stem mount on my r1 and my phone (iPhone 12) got the camera stabiliser damaged within the first few rides I ended up using my phone insurance and getting the phone replaced but before that I got the dampener and it’s been 2 years and the phone is still working without a problem

The 11 pro max did not have the ois (optical image stabilizer) it’s the 13 and up that have the issues with the camera not functionally

Hello! They do not all generate the same vibration frequencies, certain motorcycles may not produce these detrimental frequencies. Given the delicate nature of these sensitive devices, we strongly advise including this in your kit for extra assurance. Hi Lucas! It's not so much the speeds as the type of vibration! The Dampener was designed for the high-frequency vibrations that come from a motorcycle's engine, so we haven't tested it or designed it for use on anything other than a motorcycle! It prevents constant vibrations that you can’t really see and that will damage your phone, it will wobble around more than without it but this is what’s it’s meant to do

@@Quad_Lock I'm experiencing the same thing as the user above. My phone does shake/wobble quite a bit (and looks more like the phone on the right in the example, than the non-moving/still phone on the left in your example). Should I be concerned that the product is not doing as intended?

@Quad_Lock yes I know , I have the system with damper on my motorcycle. Still a lot of movement, maybe due to using the wireless charging head as well . So with the weight of that plus the phone there's more movement.

If you are going to spruik a "success rate" of 99.5%, then that to me sounds like a guarantee. And I should be reimbursed for at-least 2 phones, right? Otherwise it seems like misleading, irrelevant, statistics... Which really don't have any real-world bearing, as you unlikely have real world, non-curated numbers. My local bike store has actually stopped recommending your vibration dampener because of the amount of customers who have still had their cameras fail... That doesn't sound like 99.5% to me.

With our dampener being produced as a way to combat the device flaws, there’s always the potential that the issues introduced by the phone manufacturer could be slightly beyond our attempts to minimise it, along with the external factors that could have introduced the problem. However, still very odd to hear this occurred from all of our data and feedback on our Dampener. Only working in the socials team, I am unable to investigate further detail with you, but do strongly recommend talking with our Support Team who have the ability to do so. Thanks - Isabelle

Hi Mark! The Mounts shown here are both Quad Lock mounts. They are both our Handlebar mounts, the only difference is the one on the left has the Vibration Dampener.
