I know go power sports helps with all your builds but I think if you could get some tires with a little more tread it would do better in the snow and stuff. Not trying to bash you or anything like that because these carts you build from scratch are badass man!
Some fenders on the dual engine cart would not hurt it a bit, to keep some mud, dirt, water, etc. off the engines, but all in all they handled Awesome, Thanks Again Joey From Statesville
It doesn't look very impressive in video for the untrained eye. But I'm sure in real life it's much better than it looks. Good job. That was a good test. You know what to do to make them better now. 👍 Cheers from Belgium.
Nice build, great to finally see it really ran hard, I don't like that approach angle on the front just a bit to close to digging in but maybe you will adjust it a bit with stiffer front shocks. Buy or make a cable luber and get some cable lube that is good in freezing temps.
Bad ass build, my dream build, would be long travel, fully independent, with 4x4. Essentially my grizzly 660 with a roll cage. Hard to justify the spending when it's easier to buy something.
have you considered running path finder or bear claw atv tires on the off road go carts? still a sweet build and looks like you had a blast out there xD
Dude i love your builds man but you really need some Knobbly tires, especially for the dual engine, i don't understand why everyone thinks V-treads have loads of grip, they just don't. A big fat wide set of Knobbly tires on the rear would make that thing fly. Especially in the snow!
You need bigger tread on the rear. Your tires were getting caked in mud and losing traction. Also it looked like your suspension was a little on the soft side. Great video though. I've been looking forward to an of road vid of those two buggies.
Back in the 80's on VW buggies,.. tractor tire's were the best traction you could get,....we also liked desert dog tires for fields. We used tractor tire's racing 4 wheel drive's through mud pits. When we used nutritious and 4 barrel carburetors,......we ran paddle wheels.we took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place by entering 3 times and taking all of the paying positions. We also sometimes used tractor tires on the front too,...like the ones on a 9N ford tractor in woods for better steering. You want high tread tractor tires in the back,... and nobbies on the front. Because I don't think they make a ribbed tire that small for the front,.... we didn't want to drift we wanted to control,.. so we didn't damage the buggies on trees and stumps.
Im just a spectator with no idea how u might do it but it appears to me that traction is a huge issue for u guys. A perfectly sane person might suggest that u put some new rubber on them but I'm not a perfectly sane person and ive never claimed to b except when doing so would keep me from being a long term visitor in a secured facility where the highlight of the day for the patrons is when the med cart shows up on the floor/pod/section etc...!!! Lol. My "suggestion" is this: how bout a 3rd matching motor on the front of the buggy with dual motors on it? Maybe a CV type of system or something along those lines to turn the 2 front tires!! Could b bad ass!!
Yeah they build these awesome great machines but terrible tires!! I do the same thing but my stuff has aggressively mean tires you can also get aggressive tire but not tear yards up to bad
I've said it before and I'll say it again, you need better tires. Those tires from gopowersports suck, they've got little tread on them. You can get 23X10.5X12 ags that have better tread for $80 each at Tractor supply, or go online and buy some actual atv tires that have an 1inch of tread or more
I LOVE all your guys builds, but everyone seems to want to let OFF the gas when coming to a hill.....it only hurts for a little while ;-).The twin engines seem to need a LOT higher RPM..............smaller final gears?
I need to talk to you soon via phone bud...I just bought a house and got married and my wife and I both want to build a side by side so we need your advice...I will get with you in a few months brother...keep up the awesome vids😀
