Really pretty country side - you must have understanding neighbours too. I used to race the cars up and down my street..."compression brakes" was as far as I go with brakes...I didn't want to stop anyway- home made go kart was a hell of a lot of fun.

A friend of mine had a Razor with a turbo charger on it. It was stupid fast, and almost undrivable because it was unturnable without bringing it almost to a stop. So against my advice he bought a sway bar kit for it. I put them on and found that it still wouldn't turn. So I played with their adjustments with no luck, and finally adjusted them back to their starting point. Then while on our makeshift track, I floored it toward a turn, baked for the turn while turning the wheels, let off the brakes, and it of course pushed straight ahead until out of frustration I punched the gas. Boom! The throttle turned it. OMG, it was completely neutral like an F1 car. With those sway bars you could turn it with the throttle. Which made it amazingly fast through the turns, and amazingly fun to drive. So my advice to you is not to add actual sway bars, but convert those 2nd shocks on the front to a hydraulic sway bar setup. With some sort of mechanical body roll control valve, and a manual adjustment with in reach of the driver. Then apply the same setup to the rear. And btw, that Razor would do I think 81 mph on pavement. According to it's speedometer..

So very impressed how well that rear end flexes, future go carts should be built similar in my opinion. Great work bro,

This is awesome! I have an easy cool factor suggestion. Buy 2 LEDs and run them to a power off each engine and place them on your switch dash so you have a cool way of knowing both engines are running

Paint it rusty-red instead of green and you have a working half life 2 buggy

That thing is awesome, I have had a similar design I never got to build, but I was going to use twin 420 engines, 2 gas pedal and 2 break pedal , for maximum handling

now you need a 5 point harness to keep you in there in case you roll over, and a sway bar for on road use something you can disconnect super fast

can I ask how wide that is ? My trx 450r was setup for mx racing and it was 50inches wide that seems wider.

Rather B Welding; You should seriously look into building a "Street legal reverse trike" one like where you sit inside NOT on top, you could use the Honda 600 motor and rear suspension with the wheel and the dash gauges marker lights headlight brake lights hell most of the wiring, Just need to get a front suspension from a small light weight car, this way you have the disc brakes complete with calipers ball joints maybe even a steering rack. But do take your time and do it right no pipes use tubing and Tig weld it all (Mig is good too just not on some important safety things)... PS: keep it light.

You mentioned the brakes did not work that well.I noticed part way through the vid only one back wheel was skidding or locked up. Do you have plans for front brakes? I think that would solve your issue there. Any way, enjoyed the video, very clean rig.

Trips me out watching you drive that thing around on public streets if that was me in my town the cart would be impounded and I'd have $2000 ticket for operating an ATV on a public roadway

Great thought, welding and skill in your work yes you are right ‘don’t lift with your back’ little advice from a person who never listened, down on one knee, lift onto other knee then lift with your legs. Spreading your legs to lift will cause hernia’s. (I’ve had two and a damaged back from lifting engines). Best wishes keep up the great creations.

Impressive and elegant looks almost ready for retail a sway bar wouldn't be that difficult but remember what ever end you put it on will be The end that slides. The bar would mount parallel to whatever your rear swingarms mount toand the arms could connect to the swingarms even with just a clamp but then it would be tail Happy
