A little TIP for you: Next time you travel, ship the items you won't need on the plane to the hotel you are staying. Inform the hotel manager and staff that your items will be arriving and your reservation number. Most will accept the packages and store them for you before you arrive, then ship them back home when you leave. We do this all the time with some of our medical equipment.
The main problem that I see with this idea is the cost 💸 Especially if you have to ship larger/heavy items and equipment. I think the cost would be restrictive for most people.
This made me tear up. Not because it is sad, but because we don't really take the time in our own life to appreciate the things we have. It just goes to show that a mother's love knows no limits, and will do anything and everything for her child! When I was 20 years old I was in a really bad accident, my mom had to take care of everything for me! From getting dressed, eating, etc! And she never complained! She was just happy I was alive! Which is how your mom probably feels too! I just want to add that your positivity and a pure zest for life, is so awesome to see, and it really helps not only me but I'm sure all those who watch! I have spinal nerve root damage and also struggle with urinary retention and bowel motility...thank you for being so open and honest about this part of your life. My hubby jokes that we talk more about 💩 than almost anything else 😂 (either laugh or cry, right?). Your mom is amazing!

I relate to this on the craziest level. I was born with Cerebral Palsy and I go through a lot of this on the daily. My mom's done this for 20 years and she's a nurse so she does it at work too. My boyfriend is living with us now so my parents have help and I have a comedy show because he's still learning so it's pretty funny. I couldn't be happier with the family I have because as you know it takes TONS of patience. Thank you for being on YT and being one of the many voices of the disabled community. Showing that we can have a happy life like everyone else
Hey man you should look into medical marijuana, I have epilepsy and had bad tremors too. I never believed it would work till my friend finally convinced me to try it. It was incredible. I have since started a daily supplement with the THC removed. I went from not even being able to go to school, to the manager of a plant. Just something you might want to look into, God Bless

I just found your channel. I love your smile! It melt my heart! You and your family are amazing. I prayed this morning for God to show me something new on youtube. Something positive and good with no drama. He gave me you! I spend a lot of time in bed. I recently had a spinal fusion in my thoracic region. I now have a rod and screws that in an xray it looks like I landed on a pitch fork. A few months after that I had a neck fusion level c5, 6, 7. The pain I have now is better and different. I have a good attitude about all this too. I'm thankful for the small things now. Before my first surgery it was getting very difficult to walk. My legs were getting very weak. Every day now gets a little better. I'm still taking pain meds. Do you feel pain? Your mom is amazing! Tell her she wins the mother of a life time award! My husband has been an absolute blessing for me. I'm great full for every single thing he does for me. Don't sweat the small stuff! God has a special place in heaven for the people that have given up their time to help us. I can walk now. The only things I have trouble with is using my upper back. Who knew sweeping with a broom would he so hard and painful. Keep posting videos please. You are an inspiration that was truly sent by God!

Just a lil tip because I work with 15 year olds with Cerebal Palsy always have the tallest/ strongest person transferring/lifting by the shoulders/under armpit and the shorter/weaker person supporting the legs! Just something we were taught when lifting our students, helps a lot with your back! Hope you have been having an awesome vacation x
I don't know, what you are going thru, but I know, what your mom has to give every single day. I am a caregiver (don't know the right term) for about 25 years now and when I see your mom getting you out of bed, my back starts to hurt. Please tell her to re-learn some proper technics how to move a person. Kinesthetic, if this is the right Word, but you get the idea. Kudos to you and your family for staying strong. in all honesty, when one watches the love and commitment of this family, one has to be thankful, grateful and not whine about one miserable thing in life.
I am a c4 c5, I used to have spasms that were awful until I use Catapres tts3, Usually applies on the chest, now my spasms are controlled along with 50 grams of baclofeon evey 6 hours. I been injured for a long time and did my rehab at St.Judes in Fullerton California.
My dad became a quad when I was 8 after being hit by a drunk driver, I am so happy to see that nothing will hold anyone back anymore. Love love love your vids
She's a great mom..I'm sure she doesn't feel it she's just doing what any mom would who lives their child he's always goin to be her son and she will always do what she can to make his life easier no matter the struggle..I don't know them but she really loves her baby boy..I am a mom and my son is 12 and is always goin to be my baby my daughter is 8 mos and she will always be my baby!! She's a great mom who really loves her children!!

I think that bowel management is something that many prominent people who have a disability or illness just skip over, because it is seen as a gross and not normal to talk about. I am 19 and I have had an ileostomy since November 2017 and I will for the rest of my life. There is nothing fun or cute about having an ileostomy but it saved my life and will continue to for the rest of my life, so I will gladly make that trade off
