We have one of these at my work. It's the oldest most reliable automated truck we have. Nobody wanted to drive it because A. you have to put the truck in neutral and rev the peddle to run the arm, idle won't do at all B. you can't dump carts until the hopper returns to the front C. it's a single axle and it has limited brakes and capacity D. the arm is short and cart placement here is terrible and there's lots of trees, mailboxes and cars to contend with. E. the levers being up high wear out most guys shoulders. My buddy Alvie followed me from WM and chose this once spare as his permanent truck because it always works.

I have a question. Someone please tell me.... If you have trash service. Where the truck grabs a d dumps the trash can. No human needed to dump it. Then WHY waste money and material on trash bags ???? Why not just dump house can loose trash into big can. And let truck dump loose trash into truck. Less expensive and less waste!!!!!!
