Super day out Shane looked like a blast , your having to much fun I’m jealous lol I’m having a music shop pilgrimage down to Andertons music shop Guildford end of the week with a couple of my buds should be fun ! I’m sure I’ll have won something in a raffle well that’s what I’ll tell the wife 😜🤣

The track where you "go down in the Landrovers" is Dirtlow Rake and comes out just above Winnats pass. Back in the 80's it used to continue out past Eldon Hill Quarry and join the road further up towards Sparrowpit but that section got closed to motorised vehicles when the quarry closed. It's quite a boring route now. So many tracks in the PD have been downgraded over the years and made into bridleways or footpaths.
Yea we used to do the same route as you many years ago in the Landy’s too mate, there’s hardly any legal routes about now for green laning, it’s that bad most of my mates don’t bother going out at all. We used to go up that green lane at the back of Bamford and over Stanage edge to loads of lanes at the back of Sheffield but all shut now mate 😔
