110% with great dialysis, low on weight and working with new student, new trainee staff nurse and new senior charge nurse, so I got a really entertaining day and was making myself useful! Oh and guys, take a BP test: You really can't fail! Weather sort of grey with rain showers. 5 yellow cars, 2 orange and a Green Meanie!
Clocks change this weekend Olly, great picture of the sunset . Hopefully there shouldn't be to much wet this weekend and hopefully dry again next week. 90% Today .
Great opening shots. You have the most famous combined harvester in the known universe. Countless millions may disagree. It is the most iconic. As Mrs Merton would say, 'let's have a heated debate'. 😂
Hello Olly, I think it's this Sunday the clocks go back. The government is a total disgrace what they are doing to farming is going to destroy it forever. I'm sure it is their plan to make our once great country totaly dependent on other countries importing to us. The tyre demonstration was really interesting to see just how much it effects the ground. Thank you so much for sharing. Have a great evening and I hope your Dad will soon be feeling better and the consultants can help him. 💜
Great video Olly and I don’t think you did too much about the tyre presentation, it looked really interesting and if they do do that tax on farmers, it will kill them all off and the Labour government will get, there way and build houses, solar farms and wind farms to produce enough energy for all the extra housing they want to build 👍👍
You get the feeling the track would have done less compaction if driven over a full pit. Stupid question but if you walked over the sand would there be any compaction shown?
Hi Olly sorry to see your father in pain I wish him well it’s know fun getting older I’m 77 bad back, legs from lifting heavy sacks from massy combine in the 60
Keep an eye on your blood pressure Olly. I know you said it was a little high and you had been rushing about, but that was actually Stage 2 high blood pressure. Worth getting a blood pressure machine for the farm tea room so you can all use it say once a month, they cost very little. High blood pressure is known as the silent killer so please do keep an eye on it 👍
Great video. I know how bad pain is I've suffered most of my life with chronic pain. I'm like a walking pharmacy with how many tablets I'm on. Daylight savings is Sun, 27 Oct 2024
I am sitting here with my toes strapped up after having a fall, foot blown up like a balloon I can feel for your dad with the pain.big bones in foot but toes took the brunt of fall.
A BP of 140 is the top of "You should keep an eye on it, but it's ok" 180 is the top of "You need to get medicated" Above 180 is "You need to talk to someone today"
I think as you went over past the edge in the tracks, it looks worse in compaction as the front had no support. Would maybe need to run over a full clean bit, and then dig it out, like you did with fendt
I wish id had time to come up to the tyre demo I'm still fascinated by tyre technology and getting the horsepower on to the ground while still causing minimum damage to the soil and where manufacturers see tyre technology going in the future
Ollie, the agricultural land relief will push values down but it will end the mega land banking by the likes of Dyson which is purely about tax avoidance.
Hi olly, I’m 16, I want to farm, I don’t understand enough about the APR situation, would you be able to help with what I should write to my local MP? Or anyone else who can help
You not going to get them to change there minds. We have to what the French do to get it over to them it time to stand together. Clock change this weekend
Yes the clocks do change this weekend and it is definitely winter Your dead right Olly if. they take Agricultural relief of Agricultural Land the jobs over I sincerely hope they don’t without that how can you pass a farm on to your family Very interesting video today Alliance did a great job of demonstrating different tyre pressure and what damage it can cause feeling 86% today and Olly another brilliant video
The loss of IHT relief will not be the end of uk agriculture, the land is still there and will always be available to be farmed. Just the ownership will change, they just want it to all be farmed by larger corporations rather than families etc
@@inh415 the main issue is agricultural land is bound to drop in value with the loss of the tax loophole, probably from 10k per acre to 7/8k which will be a problem with high debt farms but no relevance to owned estates
