at 14:20 when he reaches that last little hole, and turns around at 14:22, that is the end. you can see the timer in bottom right stop counting up. the jumping around a little bit afterwards is just for fun, celebratory :)
team fortress originally was a mod for the first quake, in case you dont see connection between the games. also source is based on quake engine or something.
gam ma Yup, TF was originally used for Quake engine (Id tech 2), but after that. Gabe bought the engine and remade it as 'Goldsource' and so on. The standalone game released as TF classic.

You can play defrag map on QUAKE live with pql i have done for a long time until i decided to get q3a again ahah but the server are shit though always BOTS ;(
WTF?!?! How fuckin big are those defrag maps. I remember playing them and I barely made it through the first part :DDD jesus christ. and why is there so much shit when you actually just skip it all? When u look around theres so much stuff he just passes by with uber jumping.
Fabian Hahn Its because he's using weapons. This map was originally desgined for Q3A without CPM physics, and without weapons. Enable both and you have a new map completely. Its pretty fun, but obviously you can't compare times between the two

its cpma, a noob wouldnt understand that and a moron wouldnt even see the crosshair info to show the straff in action. yes it is defrag go back to cs, overwatch, dota or whatever casual shit you play
cv6ady i did see the crosshair omfg. But he was too shit that he was using rockets the whole time. He uses rockets because he doesnt know how to strafe in the fist place. You can use rockets of corse but using them the whole time and no straff OR using rockets to get more speed for strafing but then eventually bumps into walls. If you call this strafejumping using rockets the whole time, i think you might be delusional, what do you play Quake Live? Quake Arena Arcade? QUAKE CHAMPIONS ROFLLLLLL. Be nostalgic and i dont play dota, overwatch or cs. Quake 3 Arena is my life, not yours and you dont even understand what strafejumping is! Using rockets the whole 15 minutes is real skill isnt it????
cv6ady i know he got a battle suit, what diference does it make? So what? hes still using rockets for 15 minutes? What sort of skill is that? Anyone can do that, is that what you call strafejumping is it? He strafed for about 10 seconds then reverted back to rocket. Do you have eyes to see?
part of the map relies on straff too. If you look at the 1:00 minute mark on the video this is where he was strafejumping. I see that, but what skill is it when he uses rockets to gain momentum when the whole idea of straff is to gain momentum by pressing the aforementioned key? I know what im talking about. You probably play quake live or quake champions when it comes out so idk what your on about.
