this makes it obvious how the level of play evolved over time. fatl1ty was running the items and not taking the risks he shoul have at the start. ZeRo4 adapted to fatal1tys predictability and hit some very good shots, but it was too late at that point and it simply does not make up for the lack of item control.
I had always wished THRESH would have come from Quake 2 to Quake 3, but he just kind of left the scene to do his own company from what I remember. He never really played Quake 3? Or did he? LOL
Fatal1ty was much better at DM6, he was bit lucky in few engagements and ZERO4 made several crucial errors. DM6 is about camping & map control, these two fellas were still able to turn it into extremly entertaining match.
You literally cannot write a more contradictory sentence, as if camping has anything to do with map control or if it would have made the game more fun to watch :d
