Took forever to get this done. Built a new computer, ran into problems, lost my project files, broke my radiator. Was a bit of a New Years resolution to complete the series as planned. Not sure if I'll do any more. Maybe I'll revisit some of these when Diabotical comes out. Video was also a lot longer at one time. How rev/360 is computed, different yaw values for different games, how to use the various sensitivity matchers, but I ultimately felt it was too wordy with too much math. This series was all about keeping it quick and simple and decided this was the best way.

some of these player settings in the chart really surprise me. like killsen having low sens? his hand must go freakin wild while playing for it to look like it does. expected clawz to be higher as well, altho he has mad accel so probly not as weird. raisy is ridiculous. dooi having lower pitch than yaw, that's hella counter intuitive. while aim god tox knows wsup - a bit of pitch increase and not ridiculously low sens. edit - k0lsan has accel as well so again not as surprising i guess
Scroll binding is an issue that is hard to find covered. I tried binding my scroll movements to look up and look down. It showed in settings but did not work in play. I'm open to the idea of binding it to other functions. My frustration is that it is a waste not to bind scrolling to at least some function in Quake 2 for PC.
When you're measuring the distance you'll get inconsistent results depending how fast you move the mouse. He's suggesting you find 360/cm with it off when matching between games then turning it back on.
Found that it squared into my mouse quite perfectly so I could return it to the same exact position AND orientation when testing and measuring things out.
