So, a thing to note about Old World. While yes, as it stands, a good number of factions including vampire counts are going to probably not receive OFFICIAL support from GW in this edition at the very least, it's definitely going to receive community support. One thing to remember is that WHFB has lived a long long time without any sort of GW involvement, and it will continue to do so, regardless of the money-motivated decisions of its copyright holder. Almost all of the community-run tournaments in my state are going to allow the pdf armies to be played, for instance. GW is not the end-all be-all for how you can enjoy your hobby!
Lol the best thing about growing up farming and never leaving me home town.. watching Eurotrip.... seeing Europe through that movie. Then marrying a German.... so funny
The Empire will for sure get 2 DLC, unless Thrones of Decay really sells terribly. This one will bring the Wizard lords while the next one will be focused on Knights, with the Grand Master Lord. At least that seems to make sense, we've never seen 2 Lord types in 1 DLC.
i think my favorite format so far was the land battle with the single capture point in the middle, think we will see that again some time turin? ( loved the tournament btw XD )
I agree that there is absolutely no reason why Grandma Stank should ever have more HP than Khazrak. Unfortunately the power creep has really been making itself felt lately.
Turin sometimes I go back and watch you large armies tournaments you had in Warhammer 2. That could be a cool format to bring back just to change things up every now and then.
Spoilers for outerregion cs hitmanhippo Grimgor walking right through the TK army to go punch kahtep in the nose was a hilarious start to the match. A cunningly brutal ambush plan
Mainly based on the unit class. Infantry have 5, single entities have 3, monstrous units and cav have either 3 or 4, not sure, and expendable infantry have less than normal infantry (2-3, not sure again). There's a couple unique cases like the Ogres, whose monstous infantry have 5 cap weight, but thats the gist of it.
The fact that every "competitive" match involved Greenskins, Lizardmen, or Kislev makes these extremely boring very quickly. Even with all the recent updates.
@RYUcaEU It’s a lot faster and more responsive; benefits more from high APM play, requires more multitasking, and in general just has a much higher skill ceiling and level of competition as an rts But I think thanks all relative bc you could feel the same way about AOE and StarCraft. Brood war is way crazier than competitive AOE2.
