I have used carbon fiber hoods on many vehicles and they always end up looking terrible. The structure itself will hold up, but the clear and sheen will start to deteriorate in less than 5 years unless you keep it covered a majority of the time. Even then the heat expansion from getting hot and cooling will eventually start to crack the finish. These things go from looking cool to trashy real quick.
