45rpm is louder than 33 1/3. More clarity deeper bass, overall soundstage is improved. Well worth the few seconds it takes to flip a record over and drop the needle.

I really really hope that EMI contacts QRP to press The Beatles mono box for the US market. The Beatles deserve to have their records pressed in a modern manufacturing facility that cares about quality and pays attention to detail. It's clear that QRP is the best.
Nice. I ran eight different Finebilts at Record Tech. in the late seventies. We then swapped them out for six SMT automatics. Happy to see the manuals still in operation.

I kept nearly all of the re-issues of Judas Priest and Twisted Sister Lps I got directly from Acoustic Sounds sometime way back eons ago. They make really good high quality records. I mainly bought mine as collector Lps since some of the album artwork wasn't originally released here in the U.S. when record companies were keeping up with supply and demand and cranking out inferior Lps when records were a hot seller back in the 70s throughout the early 1990's.
At 3:20 the disc that is being processed does not look like it could be Cat Stevens "Tea For the Tillerman" as described. The disc shows three long songs on that side.
I ordered a copy of the lp, and was excited about getting it here in June, but I now see it has been pushed back AGAIN to Aug, and knowing Acoustic Sounds, it could be the end of the year, MAYBE. I HATE when they do this- I know that some of the releases come from 3rd parties and there's nothing they can do, but this is from THEM. You'd think that by the video here, they would be ready to start pressing and get them ready in no time. Get it together Acoustic Sounds!!!
Are you serious? This is the cleanest pressing plant in the world and I've been to more than 15 plants, owned two, bought and dismantled three plants so I have a good idea of what I'm talking about. You can see other plants right here on RU-vid and they don't come anywhere near the cleanliness of this one. Pressing plants usually look like a car mechanic's workshop. I'm thinking your comments are motivated by something else and therefore not appropriate and highly misleading.
Hi. I own a Scully 280-8 one inch recorder. We will be doing some business! This is ultimately where my work will wind up. I have so many requests for true analog now. My job is to record and mix very well. Then I pass it on the mastering lab. It is out of my hands at that point. And that is the way it should be. Never master your own mixes is what I was told. It takes a second set of ears. I would like to know where I can buy your vinyls at? I would love to own these recordings.
Just some advice from a long time vinyl guy. While I really respect and appreciate what you do, your 2 disc 45 rpm sets are not only unnecessary, but take up double the space, and at $50 a pop, are simply too pricy for the average kid starting out and getting into vinyl. Offer single disc 33 1/3 versions of these classics that will still sound amazing, and be both more environmentally friendly and affordable. Thanks!
